its a point that always goes over your head.... if you are picked #1 or #2 you shouldnt NEED power play time to develop. YOu shouldnt need to be GIVEN anything...you should show the talent that you have and earn a spot. ...a NHL team is not going to wait and see by giving young kids PP time when their current PP is 3rd overall in the league!

Lets sit a team MVP... or lets sit a Vet who scored 52 goals in a season...lets sit a center who has 80 points one year and 90 points another for an unproven kid.. yeah... that really works....

and before you say another thing about other teams.... OTHER TEAMS didnt have ALL STAR players on their roster when drafting #1 or #2... unfortunatley for the Rangers, their biggest need was not LW it was Center ...we were and are stacked at LW... we needed a true RW which neither Kappo nor Laffy are

Great win as Quick keeps the starting job for now but have to wonder what's going through Igor's head. Laf hasn't figured out defense as his -10 attests to, even last night he tallies a -1 for defensive laziness. Offensively he's figured out that more shots on goal increase scoring, something Kappo may be on the verge of as well after his 3 SOG offensive explosion last night..

 

I think it will be good for Igor. If he wasn't focused before then he will be now, and maybe it kickstarts the rest of his career.
