Glad we locked him up until he's 31. Gotta get all of his prime years.

Sure. I'm happy for him and all but why? What does he bring that will make this team better in the next 3 years?
If he is still on the team they are tanking still.

Foregone conclusion but happy to see it.

Duop, Bari, Tou are all excellent value plays. They are all rotational players (at worst) on a good team.

He's a big who can set screens and shoot. As a 10-15 mpg bench player, he would slot in on a lot of good teams as well.

Couldn't find terms of his 3 yeear deal but an article said we'll use part of our mid level exception on his deal.

    I don’t see it.
Happy for him. He worked his whole life to get this but he will not be playing rotational minutes on a contender from what I see. NBA is full of guys better than him.

Blazers signed a player taller then 6'5. This is great news! It's a good first step towards becoming a real NBA team.

I hope you're right but that seems exceedingly optimistic to me. They are barely rotation players on a terrible team. :)

you know for a guy whos got underdog as his profile pic you sure as shit dont seem to like the underdog that much, whats not to like hes a decent rotational player for right now on a reasonable contract and like waychi said hes over 6'5. Its not like we just signed some albatross of a deal for him, or that he's some long time pillar. We have had plenty of injuries this year there was no reason not to sign him.

Nice news for Duop. Anyone negging this move is negging a 2-3m dollar deal at the bottom of the roster that is easily moved/sloughed, so I'm not sure what you expect with an end of the bench specialty big.

Duop is basically replacing ~ Andrew Nicholson's contract which they won't have to pay.

We can sign-and-trade him to the bucks for Giannis after the three years.
