    Weaker of the House sent Congress in a four week vacation. Avoiding Ukraine aid, not like it's urgent.
    They impeached Secretary Mayorkas by one vote, their work is done.

    This has to be one of the most shameful and disgraceful series of events in American history.

    Today we should take careful note of who condemns Putin for his murder of
    @navalny
    . Will Trump, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Elon Musk, Rand Paul, JD Vance, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, MTG or Gaetz do so? Are they human or just supporters of Putin the dictator?

    Johnson Intended To Stop Ukraine Aid, Not Pass An Immigration Bill
    When House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) insisted in October 2023 that a border bill be passed in exchange for aid to Ukraine, he never expected to pass immigration legislation. After months of fruitless effort in immigration negotiations, it is clear Johnson’s goal was to prevent the House of Representatives from voting on Ukraine aid. So far, he has succeeded.

    Deadly Effects On The Battlefield
    House Republicans’ refusal to pass aid to Ukraine has shifted the military balance in one or more theaters of the war, according to observers. “Russian advances in Avdiivka, which increasingly looks likely to become the first Ukrainian city to fall since the capture of Bakhmut last May, are the direct result of acute ammunition shortage—caused by the U.S. Congress withholding further military aid to Ukraine,” reported Yaroslav Trofimov, chief foreign-affairs correspondent for the Wall Street Journal.

    But...the TV told me the US was not backing the 2014 Maidan coup.

    C'mon, I know you are smarter than this. All that says is that USA tried to persuade Ukraine to get rid of a corrupt prosecutor. has nothing at all to do with Euromaidan, which I personally witnessed 18 hours a day.

    After a very long, hard fought battle, Ukraine is pulling out of Avdiivka.

    Reason, lack of artillery shells and other supplies needed to continue the fight.

    Fuck the Republicans.

    Doing some reading tonight of the history of the war and learned that Ukraine was short on artillery shells at all three times they lost the major cities of Bakhmut, Severo-Donestk and Avdiivka.

    Big difference. Navalny was very healthy even the day before. He was a threat to Putin because so many people listened to him. Gonzalo Lira wasn't even a journalist, nobody knew who he was. No threat to Zelensky, Also Gonzalo was an obese man approaching 60 who suffered from several venereal diseases and he had been smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. He had double pneumonia and other health problems, .

    It was almost a forgone conclusion that Ukraine would eventually lose, I've been telling you all this for months.

    Now when things don't go as expected you blame republicans. You're brains are stuck in a spin cycle.

    It’s a nearly identical situation. His family and friends all say he was healthy when imprisoned. No he wasn’t obese, yes he was a journalist. His health deteriorated rapidly toward the end of his life and he was given no care. He was imprisoned on extremely draconian, third world laws implemented by the current corrupt regime. He’d be alive now if he weren’t in that situation. Zelensky and his government killed him, an American citizen for the crime of journalism. You are just parroting western talking points and propaganda to sweep it under the rug.
