"The Patriots are expected to consider former Virginia LB Ahmad Brooks in the supplemental draft.Brooks was kicked off the Cavaliers by friend of Pats coach Bill Belichick Al Groh in April. If New England uses a a supplemental first-round pick on Brooks, they'll surrender their first-rounder in next year's draft. Brooks reportedly runs a 4.5"

I wouldnt be annoyed if the Jets took a long look at Brooks personally either, but only after Mangini has a long talk with Al Groh about why he was kicked off of UVA's roster.

Ya, a 2nd round pick is solid for this kid.

2nd or a 3rd, no way should a team drop a 1st. This is the only guy worth going after.

Top 10 talent if he played next season. But he already hired an agent and is working out for the supplemental draft. 2nd or 3rd round pick could get someone a huge steal IF he can stay healthy.

He is a very good player when healthy. Would have easily been a Mid 1st - Early 2nd if he was in the draft this year.
