    Hornets toppled the Jazz. Grant Williams had 24 big ones. Charlotte only 2 games behind Portland. Blazers better not screw this up and beat the Nuggets.

    that's Memphis, they're slightly AHEAD of Portland in draft percentages. Grizzlies hit a bunch of lucky shots and beat the Bucks last week. Then everyone did Doc Rivers sucks podcasts.

    There's 28 games left in the Blazers "stretch run". The problem with ping pong balls is they're hard plastic, not flexible. Too much pressure and that little ball might crumple. Then unfortunately it won't bounce at all anymore.

    I don’t think we needed any help losing to the Nuggets. It’s the next game (Hornets) that I expect Ant or JG to be out with a sore toe.

    Yeah, after tonight we'll almost certainly be 1.5 games behind them in the lotto standings. We play them the next game and then again on April 3rd. Just seeing how our team has managed things the last third of the season the two seasons previous to this one, I just can't see us ending up anywhere lower than the 4 spot in the lotto. Even if this draft is supposed to be weak, I think you do what you have to in order to give a front office with a guy like Schmitz the best chance to have the most options to pick from.
