Gen Con, the biggest game convention in the world, is held there every summer. I used to go every year.

UPS isn’t closing their facility. There’s 4 different shifts where volume is moved. They’re closing the day shift.

UPS isn’t closing on Swan Island. 1 shift that moves volume out of the 4 shifts is closing. Mainly because the company wants to do away with as much part time work as possible by automating hubs.

Kind of want to know how John Travolta isn't on either of those lists? But Sondra Bullock makes the mens list of Actors.

It's just the best people at acting... or at least that's what it's supposed to be. It looks to me though that the people thought the question was about the biggest movie star because The Rock and Kevin Hart haven't shown much in the way of acting chops. Weird to me that we don't see Charlize Theron on the list or that Meryl Streep never made either list since both are two of the great actors of all time.

Very strange that since both lists featured women that you would dub this "the mens list of Actors".

    2 things I've noticed:

    1) Robin Williams is criminally underrated in 2003. He's top 10 and there isn't really an argument to that.

    2) Will Smith in 2023 is on the list but not in 2003 when he was arguably one of the top 3 actors at the time.

Any list w/o Gary Oldman is suspect.

    Maybe I’m just old?
    Actor says to me “men”
    Actress says to me “women”
Not sure how they label any other gender?

Just pointing out that a list of the most popular anything from 20 years ago is going to look very different from one today.

I get what you are saying but like many other things in our language the non-gender specific reverts back to the masculine when addressing the profession as a whole. Like the acclaimed "Inside the Actors Studio" with James Lipton wasn't only for men who act but all actors men and women. When specifying women who act we use actress(es) but when addressing groups of both men and women they're just called actors.

It's hilarious how some people think that the whole world is about them...

Jordan Poole Unhappy About Move To Wizards Bench
    FEB 23, 2024 8:23 AM

Washington Wizards interim head coach Brian Keefe made his first big lineup change since taking over. Keefe moved Jordan Poole to a bench role, after Poole had started the first 52 games he played this season.

When asked about the lineup change, Poole let it be known he's not happy with it.

"If there’s any common sense, with the situation, you should know how I feel. But I’m just going to come out, do what I can do to help the team, keep it moving," Poole said.

The veteran guard added "I mean, if this is a way to try to get me on ball, I guess that’s just what we have to do."

I just watched State of Grace for the umpteenth time. That was an Oscar. He was robbed.
