Both Israel and Hamas said there was never any talk of a ceasefire. Guess Joe made it up just ahead of the Michigan primary where 100k Democrats voted uncommitted.

I honestly think Biden is just a figurehead at this point.

    Evidence?
And if he is a figurehead, who is running things? Again, evidence?

No evidence. Just an opinion. I’d still say rather have Biden over Trump

    OK.
But you know, Warren Buffett is way older and I am not hearing anyone call him senile. So yeah, I do consider it partisan.
Keep thinking of the cartoon showing Trump trying to sing leaf with the Stones and caption reading Mick Jagger is too old so they replaced him.

I would prefer some fresh exuberance in the White House. That’s just me though.

So would I. In 2020 Biden was my fifth or sixth choice. But in 2024 this is the reality.

I would send these 2 youngsters Biden & Trump out to play in the back yard. So that the adults can have a civil conversation.

    Eric Swalwell questions Hunter Biden:

Here’s Swalwell’s exchange with Hunter Biden, according to the transcript released Thursday.

SWALWELL: Any time your father was in government, prior to the Presidency or before, did he ever operate a hotel?

BIDEN: No, he has never operated a hotel.

SWALWELL: So he’s never operated a hotel where foreign nationals spent millions at that hotel while he was in office?

    BIDEN: No, he has not.

SWALWELL: Did your father ever employ in the Oval Office any direct family member to also work in the Oval Office?

BIDEN: My father has never employed any direct family members, to my knowledge.

SWALWELL: While your father was President, did anyone in the family receive 41 trademarks from China?

    BIDEN: No.

SWALWELL: As President and the leader of the party, has your father ever tried to install as the chairperson of the party a daughter-in-law or anyone else in the family?

BIDEN: No. And I don’t think that anyone in my family would be crazy enough to want to be the chairperson of the DNC.

SWALWELL: Has your father ever in his time as an adult been fined $355 million by any State that he worked in?

BIDEN: No, he has not, thank God.

SWALWELL: Anyone in your family ever strike a multibillion dollar deal with the Saudi Government while your father was in office?

    BIDEN: No.

    SWALWELL: That’s all I’ve got.

    Touche!

I thought this part was even better:

Chairman Comer. We will release the deposition -- the transcripts like we always do when we agree to release the deposition, the transcripts.
Mr. Swalwell. Shouldn't the witness know?
Yeah, we want to put the transcript out within a day.
Mr. Nadler. Within a day? Very good. Thank you.
    We'll do our best, yeah.
Mr. Swalwell. In English or Russian?

You do realize “old” and “dementia” are two different things right? They aren’t mutually exclusive. You seem to have a problem recognizing the president is an incoherent rambling mess, so you continually point to other people who are also old to prove some kind of point. Those old people aren’t senile. Joe Biden is. That is the difference.

Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Graham Nash and a slew of rock stars are 81...hell Willie Nelson is 90 and still touring. Being old seems to be fairly misunderstood with the younger generation...no shock. Thing is Joe Biden is not senile....for thee most part he's ben completely coherent and focused ...Joe might get tired more easily these days but he knows more about the geopolitical landscape and how to build a cabinet that actually functions than any person currently registered as a Republican. It's not even close. Joe is just a guy who overcame a speech impediment and that's not senility, For the record I'd vote for all the rock stars on the 81 year old list over Trump and that's also why I'll vote for Joe over Trump.

I understand you don’t like Trump. “I know you are but what am I???” doesn’t exactly apply in this case though. Your president is in a borderline vegetative state and your best defense of him is to pretend Trump is too, just because you cherry picked him slipping up once during his fifth speaking engagement in a day. It’s sort of just dishonest to even compare the two on that particular issue. Wouldn’t it be more constructive to criticize Trump on one of the many things that actually deserve criticism? Just because Joe Bidens brain doesn’t work anymore doesnt mean the same HAS to be true for Trump. It’s like calling Biden orange.
