soon, very soon... like 10 more games and Rayan will be starting. But he'll get benched if he shoots too good

The sooner he starts, the closer we get to people turning on him!

    I kinda like Reath.

He’s been a revelation. Minor, overall, but I like watching him play.

I don't think I've ever seen a team with all 5 starters out due to injury. If I have it was probably the Blazers a few years ago when even Nate McMillan was injured

the trajectory of Memphis is wild over last 7 seasons: 22-60--->33-49--->34-39--->38-34--->56-26--->51-31--->20-40

I doubt anyone would turn on Rupert when the alternatives are 23-year-old Kris Murray, 24-year-old Delano Banton and 24-year-old Ashton Hagans.
Rupert is the youngest player on the roster and the 6th-youngest in the entire NBA.

I'd play him 20 minutes a game the rest of the way. (30 minutes when Brogdon and Scoot are out), just to see if there is a real player there. Any team that has a competent 6'9" PG has a big advantage every night.

I wasn't able to watch so when I saw the Blazers won by 30.... on the road...I wondered what apocalyptic events had transpired to cause such a rift in the space time continuum.

Both teams were missing tons of players, but the Grizzlies might lose to a good G- League lineup.

I believe there is a very small, little known clause in the CBA, that if a team as bad as the Blazers, beats you on your home court by 30 or more, you have to remain celibate for the rest of the year to ponder what you have done.

You've been here long enough to see how it works.

The fact that he can't get any minutes (up to this point) and a guy with minimal skill and upside like Murray can, should tell you how far away he is. Putting a guy in a situation when he's totally unprepared would only be doing him an disservice.
