Is it possible to break your nose twice in 1 week or does it just get more broken? AFAF
 
This is a team that if the Rangers are not on their game defensively in their own zone, they can get skated out of the building quickly. Hopefully they are focused tonight.
 
I think that's an important part of what they do at the DL, adding someone who can also help level out their defensive zone woes. That to me is the biggest issue they have.
 
If that’s a penalty on Trochek then 95% of teams should be getting called for that shit. Fuck, that’s NJs PP for the last 2 years. Guy in the middle of the ice interfering with our PKer. Fucking awful call.
 
Panarin just got slashed 4 times without a call. Fuck Toronto. Fucking disgrace of a fucking team. So happy they never win a fucking thing.
 
That’s ANOTHER terrible penalty call. This time on Toronto. Jesus Christ. This is embarrassing by these refs
 
Toronto is a high-powered team, but man do the Rangers turn the puck over a ton in their own zone, it is why I continue to say Drury has to target a defensive upgrade as well. And I have always defended Miller, but he is very loose with the puck sometimes, he has to make better decisions.

Yeah, Goodrow and his 1 goal are not good. He has to be gone this off-season.

I wish Zibanejad would watch what Panarin has done this season and shoot the puck more. The guy almost never shoots 5 on 5.

That said, happy with a 1-0 lead, and loving what Lafreniere is doing right now. Shoot high young fella. He has a very good shot.
 
Brodzinski was the best Leafs player on that goal. Lost the face off, took out a teammate and was late getting back to cover for the entire mess he caused lol
 
Definitely need a defensive upgrade. Playoff style hockey is going to be the undoing of this team as currently constructed.
 
If Drury isn't going to improve this D at the trade DL, he might as well sell. Gust cannot get it done at all in his own end. He needs to be out and move Lindgren down and improve the top 4. If he doesn't, we will not beat the best teams with this D. I focus on Ottawa and go for Tarasenko and Chychrun. You add that duo and it gives us a huge boost.

lol you forgot to mention that fuckface Trouba. Useless overpaid bum at this point. I don't get it why people here defend him over Miller. At least Miller is still young and learning. Trouba is god awful.

Tarasenko maybe depending on the price. Chychrun is awful defensively. He is not much of an upgrade defensively.
 
Slight edge to rempe in the fight. He used his reach much better
 
Vincent Trocheck is a god damn hockey player. Wins the faceoff and buries the goal.

I recall lots of crying over not signing Strome or Copp for a few K cheaper.
 
Excellent game that unfortunately gets decided in a skills competition.
 
Cannot be upset getting a point at a good team on a Saturday night in Canada. Overall good effort. The other lines need to step up though, Zibanejad needs to shoot way more at even strength.

One more game until the trade DL, let's go get a legit RW to help Zibanejad and Kreider get going at even strength, and add a dman I say.

Yeah, nothing to get upset about. Carolina lost and they fought to get the point on the road. Tough one against Florida next.
 
Lindgren needs to be gone with Goodrow in the off season. Tough loss but pick up another point after Carolina choked today. The 2 best teams in the East that will probably play in the ecf on Monday night at the garden
 
Yeah, I agree Florida is the best team in the East. We are right there after them with Boston, Toronto, and Carolina in the mix. One thing we do have going for us is our path looks like it could be good.

Play Carolina in round 2.
Will only have to play one of Florida, Boston, Toront0, and we won't have to play that team until the ECF if we are lucky enough to get that far.

Anything can happen in the wide-open NHL playoffs, but in theory that is a solid path for us with 3 of the best teams in the Atlantic and playing in the Atlantic bracket.

We have a tough schedule, but I think fair shot we hold onto 1st place being 6 points up with 21 games left, with 13 of those games at home.
