    Now Chauncey is worried with all these G league players being too scrappy. If one gets injured he might have to play an actual NBA player.

    After a 1-game slump, tonight we have returned to success. Every team has their slumps. I suggest we not get too depressed about it. Next season will be better. Hopefully we'll lose 82 games. Just think of that when you get down.

    Fun game for you masochists still watching: pick a starting five out of the players for both teams currently uninjured (so not including Jerami, as of a few minutes ago). Now: would that team beat a good G-League team?

    I just received a transcript of an interaction between Chancey and Taylor Jenkins from Friday afternoon:

    Chauncey: What's up Taylor? Ready to go 2-0 this weekend?

    Taylor: What? We're not trying to win, I was about to tell you that this was your time to shine.

    Chauncey: Really? Shit, that's not good, I can't be winning 2 games in a row.

    Taylor: Yeah me either... I'll tell you what: Let's play it close in the first half, but I'm going to hold a few guys out, and I'll put out a lineup that can't win in the 2nd half.

    Chauncey: I hear you.... Then on Saturday, when you've got a few more fans for Hawiian shirt night, we'll do a similar first half, then I'll bench Grant and throw in this French kid making it easier for you guys to return the favor.

    Taylor: Not optimal, but if you hold up your end of the deal tonight, I give you my word for Saturday.
