Zags play at St. Mary’s tonight. Other than it being a great game to watch, I wouldn’t mind using a 2nd rounder on Anton Watson. Size, length, 3 and D. Versatile player. Could be a great bench contributor in the NBA
My targets : #1 Sarr #2-5 Topic Risacher Williams GS pick: Dillion Jones Ryan Dunn Zach Edey Donovan Clingan Late lotto/mid-first has an extremely broad range compared to other drafts. You can go in a million different directions here.
Is it possible that we could overtake San Antonio in the tankathon? They are starting to beat good teams.
Coach Carlisle on the Spurs: “…This is a team that’s obviously a much different team than when we played them earlier. They just beat Oklahoma [City], they play extremely hard. It’s a wild building…”
That is a pretty good list. Although you listed 4 players when mentioning 1-5. Who else? The reason I wonder is you have Topic in your top 4. It would be an interesting scenario if we went that route. Do we keep him and let him and Scoot battle it out? Or do we draft and trade him? He and one of our Vets would be a decent package.
We better hope the Blazers board looks much different or else it looks like another guard for the 1,000,000th draft in a row.
Just wanted to get this back to the front page. I know some of you guys watch a lot of basketball and appreciate your insights. BTW, where is @MrDraftGuy ?
I was thinking about that as well. But I bet it will come down to where we land on lottery night. I can see a team like SA moving from one down to three if they feel Sarr and Wemby don't fit together. Possibly 1-4 if they really like Topic and he is still available. But I doubt anyone would move from one to five. The tough question for me is if we do end up in the top 3, would we still make that trade? Not sure I would.
