Same shit, different player with Chauncey Billups.

Rupert is the 6th youngest player in the entire NBA, yet he looks much much much better shooting 3-pointers than the "young" 23-24 other players the Blazers have.

What the F is exactly going on with Mr Billups?

Given that we have no reason not to, it would be nice to see what he could do with an increased role over the remaining few weeks.

So the same guy who in his previous 4 games was 2 for 8, all the sudden needs 30 minutes a night and be starting?

Guy has 19 games under his belt, calm your tits.

I'd be playing Bari, Rupes, Murray and Camara as much as possible for the remainder of the season.

...and Banton. Maybe even throw in Badji for 20 minutes a night. The guy has the 3rd highest block percentage per 100 possessions in the NBA.

I like that Murray has played the 2 guard over the last couple of games. When his shooting slump ends he's going to be a solid player. I've been watching Rupert with the Remix and he's going to be fun to watch as he gets up to NBA speed. All of our rookies have had long shooting slumps from 3, even Sharpe and Scoot. For some guys it'll never click but I don't think we have one of those guys on the roster. Thybulle has disappointed me with his shooting slump more than the rookies have.

If Rupert ever grows into his enormous feet he could be our future starting center.

If Sergio, Qyntel and Jermaine aren't all starting and playing 37 minutes a night I'm gonna be pissed.

Which one (or ones) of these young or young-ish players project to be a defensive role player who can consistently hit open 3-pointers at an at-least NBA-average rate?

With the Remix he is shooting 24% on 4.8 3pa per game and 36% is hs FG % and FT of 58% in the 6 games he has played there. I wonder which is more accurate. His limited numbers with the Blazers or Remix.

Thybulle is in a career-long slump... you shouldn't be disappointed. He shot way out of character for 22 games last year in Portland, but it was a fluke.

    Career 3pt%: .334. This year: .333.

Unfortunately, he's shooting 50% more three pointers (1.2) per game than he did in his career (0.8) so he's doing more damage with his crappy shooting.

I agree with the rest of what you posted, though :)

I think the point is 8 shot attempts over 4 games isn’t enough. I agree with op.

if you were the fan who thought any of those guys had high level upside—well that's some sicko behavior that I can only admire.

can you add the FT% column too? that's a small piece of whether a guy can add the 3.
