I’m actually not that high on this draft. I haven’t heard much good about it. so while I’m against trading picks when they are first and second round picks, this draft doesn’t seem very impressive

Chris Drury continues to be rather unimpressive. He inherited a solid core and really has done very little. Not to mention his coach Gallant lasted two years.

Last year Tarasenko made sense but Kane was stupid. If an impact player isn’t available to trade for or the asking price is too high I get it. Saying that they lost players to injury and are watching teams like Florida and Carolina add solid reinforcements.

I actually like the Wennberg move a lot despite giving up a 2. It should become obvious quickly how bad the centers on that line sucked. I think they will sign him also as Chytil is probably toast.

Roslovic isn’t a terrible move but could mean Trouba is heading to LTIR.

Drury should be fired. It makes absolutely ZERO sense to trade assets to get Wennberg and Ruhwedel and then add nothing else. The other teams all got better, and the Rangers did s*it. Waste of 3 draft picks, punting on yet another season (despite being one the best teams in the NHL and sitting in 1st place currently), and he should have been a seller and dealt Gust and maybe Kakko for future picks/prospects. Complete waste of space Drury is, with no plan. I hated it when he was hired and felt he was in over his head, and that is 100% the case. What a joke.

Maybe they win one round if lucky, but they'll get rolled by the Canes, thank goodness Drury traded away 3 future picks for no reason though.

If we had an owner with a pulse, and not the joke Dolan is, Drury never would have gotten the job, and would be fired today. To trade away picks for whatever players, and then not address the clear need the team has had ALL SEASON, and it was magnified by Wheeler getting hurt, and we actually had cap space as well due to Chytil injury, is a disgrace. He let every single player in that dressing room down.

And I don't want to hear no one was out there, he had WEEKS and WEEKS to do something, and did s*it. And what makes it worse is he trades away picks for whatever players that won't help us do a damn thing in the playoffs, absolute waste of assets, just like he wastes assets sitting not playing like Jones. Drury is a joke, and every fan should sit here today and be thinking well F top 5 in the NHL in 1st place, we just ended our season.

With our dumpster diving it appears that drury has morphed into Brian Cashman. Very disappointing so far compared to what our competition is doing!:angel::angel::angel:

I like Roslovic and he will be good here. But I don’t like that as the final move.

Not sure how Vegas is getting Hertl but it seems like franchise darlings are always somehow allowed salary cap voodoo.

I’m done with Drury. Too many top contenders were active while Drury got left in the dust with patch work moves to cover injuries.

Drury has done what I had hoped. There is nobody out there that makes a lock for a long cup run. Thus, no reason to pay huge prices.

That Vegas franchise is a fucking joke. There’re scam artists and Bettman allows them to do whatever the fuck they want

So, Drury throws away a 2nd round pick, and three 4th round picks for crap. Also, I am sure he had to pay up a little more to get Seattle to retain 50% on Wennberg, what the F was the point of that. Disgraceful waste of assets. Should have sold and recouped assets if this was the plan, but the truth is I just gave Drury too much credit, as if he has any f'ing plan.
