That definitely has been a theme in blazer broadcasts in the past, and they excell in it this year. Blazers broadcasting, please make it stop. We want to watch the game, not some random highlight or close up of someone else that is talking.
I kind of find it puzzling how much grief this guy gets? Tom Haberstroh? Is it his name? He brings up decent stats and put a pretty decent position together. It's pretty much what 90% of the people here do?
my brain has adapted to auto-mute Hamberblab segments. It's actually becoming refreshing at times to get Hamberblab stat-o-rama, Tom is the only guy that can pause Lamar Hurd's OYD (obsessive yapping disorder)
I only like stats that give me reassurances that the Blazers are on track to become the greatest team ever.
Well what is it then. Is it because he’s bald? I have yet to hear a stat he comes up with that is wrong? His positions are decent? I don’t always agree with him but he isn’t obnoxious in the way he presents his opinions.
My only issue with Haberstroh, is out of his control. I wish the broadcast would not go away from the game and show him while the game is going on. Split screen, put him in a small box on the bottom of the screen, but I don't want to miss game action to look at his mug.
That was a very old video. They've worked together a ton since then and it just seems to be some schtick they think is fun.
It's worse than ever. Bring back the old Blazers Broadcasting that some people used to complain about!
It doesn't matter who is in there. This place will find a way to criticize them. You can please some of the people some of the time but....
I have not seen this? Maybe it's because I have been paying way less attention to meaningless games? Seems like they have used the split screen quite a bit? Again my question is why? He seems to present the same types of facts and figures that we all communicate on here daily? Every position he comes up with is fairly well substantiated with solid facts and stats with a little inside info that we are not privileged to have. A couple games ago he made a comparison of the teams play with and without Scoot and at the end he gave a small hint on his return that was correct that none of us here had any evidence on. I just don't get why this guy is hated on?
