Ugly hit, he deserves to sit and needs to learn. But this is bush league by the NHL. I went back quite a bit, all multi-game suspensions I could find this year were 2, 3 or 5 games. Why 4? So he would be out for the Islanders game, which also happens to be a national broadcast game. This was definitely on purpose, and very transparent. Now those goons Martin and Clutterbuck get to run around all game without a care in the world. 3 games for the hit, 1 game because Bettman wants the boys to play nice on Sunday afternoon.

Finally found a 4 game suspension back in October. Hasn't been one since then. Every other suspension was 2, 3 or 5. Ridiculous. Putting Bettman's BS aside, the kid needs to learn to play with some control. He is doing some very good things on the ice and seems to have the talent, IQ and skating to be much more than a goon side-show. The first hit vs the Devs I didn't see much wrong with. This one was a Matt Cooke special.

I think the issue that made this a 4 game suspension was the predetermined fights he had during warm-ups in back to back games...to me that's the bullshit the game has no place for... Did he deserve 4 games..imo..not with how the nhl had been going...thebkid needs to learn that his height puts him at a huge disadvantage and he needs to adjust his arms

Should have been 2 games , it was a hockey play that Rempe took too far when he raised his elbow. Loved Messier talking about Rempe on NHL network Jackie Redmond show, couldn't agree with the Captain more.
Yeah, he's very raw but he's got talent beyond his physicality. A solid fit on the 4th line. Just has to learn how to hit cleanly.
