Game 65 Canes vs. Rangers

Yikes.

 

Canes PK scheme is really good. Fun to watch, unless it’s the Rangers trying to solve it.

 

Excellent first period.

 

I know it's a small sample of games but I would be interested in bringing both Roslovic and Wennberg back. Just a matter of what they will want.

 

First period was the best period all season the forwards back checked!

 

I’d love to see the amount of times we get thrown out of the face off circle vs our opponent this season as well as see it overall compared to the rest of teams in the league. We gotta lead the league. I swear just about every face off we get thrown out.

 

Great first period. Not so great 2nd. Need a big third period to pull this one out.

 

Igor is really back on his game.

 

Something tells me this is going to be a stressful 3rd period for us fans.

Canes are a very pussy like team. Anytime they have the puck and a player on the other team is anywhere near them they get rid of it immediately because they never want to take a hit to make a play.

 

Carolina is like watching the late 90s Devils. Lots and lots of clutching and grabbing and it never gets called

They made it tough but back to back shutouts for Igor...Not going to lose many games when you don't give up a goal!

 

Best win if the year. Igor is back to vezina form and stuck it up Carolina’s asses. Bogus icing call at the end of the game there by that linesman and lavs let him know about it.

 

Very solid defensive effort all-around, even with the flurry they had in the 2nd.
