Lindgren reminds me of Girardi. Tough as nails but always getting hurt due to the type of game they play. It’s a tough call on Lindgren. He’s a heart and soul player, but his shelf life is almost expired with all this wear and tear and injuries.

Kakko is learning from Panarin. He has an elite shot if he shoots first he could get 30 goals every year

I don't mind Lindgren as a 6th d-men but he is not a top 4 d-men. I would use his money to upgrade a partner for Fox.

Good solid workmanlike win today. Got 4 points against two teams they should beat, good to see. Tightened up a bit today as well. Keep moving forward and stay focused on details.

In other news, it is wide open which team will get the 3rd spot in the Met, Caps/Flyers/Isles. The Caps have been playing pretty well, maybe they will be the team, who knows.

Another dominant win without Trouba and another 3 hit game by the defense. Every time Lindgren goes down I think of what could have been if Gorton wasn't the worst GM in Rangers history and gave Ryan Graves a shot but that's why the Rangers failed so miserably during the hunch playing numbnut's career here. Now we'll get to see Ruhwedel who was a depth move by Drury. Still not seeing where the Rangers relinquish first place.

Next 5 games for the Rangers - Winnipeg, at Boston, Florida, Philly, at Colorado. Other than the Philly game, and they are playing for their playoff lives, that is a very difficult stretch. I am looking forward to seeing how the Rangers play. If they win a few, especially the Boston and Florida games, they can win the Pres trophy (not that winning the Pres trophy really means anything). After that their schedule gets much easier for the final 9 games.

I think he’s referring to Philly, and they kind of are. They are 3 points up on Washington but Washington has 2 games in hand. They are 3 points up on Isles and NYI have 1 game in hand. And then the WC is wide open too.

If the Rangers put Lafreniere on the right side of the PowerPlay, much like the Tampa Bay set up, they would have the number one ranked PowerPlay in the league. However, as I said many times, the Rangers are slow playing Lafreniere and Kakko because they don’t want to pay them.

If they did not sign Panarin, Kreider, Ziba, Trochek to big contracts they would probably play Lafrenier and Kakko on the PP1. Gotta keep salary cap manageable, I guess.
