Yeah, they said not as bad as initially feared, and should make a full recovery. The Rangers regular season ends 4 weeks from today, April 15th. The full NHL regular season ends Thursday, April 18th. And the playoffs start 5 weeks from today, April 22nd. I would think Lindgren should be back for the playoffs for sure, and as you mentioned, maybe even get a couple of games in to shake the rust if he misses less than 4 weeks. That is good news. We'll see how the next few weeks play out with Trouba out for maybe 2 more weeks, and Lindgren out for 3 weeks +/- most likely, but Lavy should really take a close look at how the D plays without both of these guys. There could be a strong case to make that Lindgren should be on the 3rd pair when he comes back, and at the very least I think Miller and Schneider should stay together. Fox will be in the top 4, then you need to decide which one of Trouba or Lindgren should play with Fox, and which one will be on the 3rd pair with Gust IMO, and if Gust and Fox pair well together, maybe Lindgren and Trouba play together, that would also keep the L/R balance. Interested to see how it plays out.
