Man almost $40k in a weekend. So fucking amazing people came through. ALS at the age of 34... I can't even imagine.
I thought he worked for 620, which isn't Blazer Broadcasting (i.e., Chad Doing does not work for Blazer Broadcasting).
What this lady said. Works for a company that talks about the team, that's it. Doesn't matter, wishing him the best and I think it's fantastic these people have raised money. Not sure what the money is for......the 3 people I know who have this or had.....there's just nothing you can do but prolong the pain and suffering. My dad's best friend(my uncle) who battles this for decades.....those last 10 years were absolutely brutal on everybody. Ive heard them talk about wishing they had done it different. Sending this dude good vibes.
Sorry @THE HCP but you are wrong. He was a Blazer Broadcasting employee. Just as much of an employee as the other radio guys... Travis Demers & Rich Patterson. Tough news. He's a good guy. I really enjoyed him with Isaac & Suke for so many years and he did great on the Blazer pre game, halftime, and post game shows.
He may have to move. His current home may have to be modified. He'll need a motorized wheelchair. Some way to transport it. Therapists. In-home care. Those are just a few of the expenses I can think of. Also, he no longer has a job, so health insurance.
I stand corrected, I thought he was a RipCity radio guy like Chad. Thought he worked with Isaac and Suke.
He's the guy you didn't bother to learn his name and just called him rookie for 2 years while being an ass to him.
I enjoyed him on Big and Suke on 1080 even though they sure pitched him a lot of shit. Hoping for the best. Terrible news.
Probably didn’t help that I haven’t listened to ANY local radio for at least 20 years. I remember when Travis joined us I had no clue he had his own show for years. My bad!
