Can't stand a Saturday 12:30 start. Kids Day at MSG....perfect timing for a division rival/retribution game.

Schneider with Miller and already defense looks better. Fox took too long to shoot that puck and then shoots it right into goalie when he had top shelf wide open. Looking good so far, but nothing to show for it yet. Gotta get one in soon.

Rempe doing a better job backchecking than most of our “regulars.” Also, Kakko can take a walk this offseason. He is just as useless as Brodzinski.

Good to see Lavy put Miller and Schneider back together, it is the right move.

Pretty even period, and then an undisciplined play by Kakko means we are shorthanded for nearly the first 4 minutes of the 2nd period.

Even though it was just about an even period, I have to tell you I just don't have a good feel about this team right now. I am concerned about the team in general, something feels off to me as teams around them have raised their play as the playoffs approach. Winning this game today is important IMO.

It was a really good period overall for the team. Should have had at least 2 goals but for missing the net and shooting right into the goalie.
Kakko’s double minor penalty can just be added to all the stupid shit he does game in, game out. Honestly, give me a lineup with Rempe and Edstrom for the playoffs over Kakko and Brodzinski.

You literally start almost every post with this or include it somewhere in a post. We know you don't have a good feeling about the team. We get it. Not many of us have high expections with the way they've played the last week or so.

I think Rempe should be in, but I also think Kakko should be in. I think you have to play him; he at least has the potential to add some scoring that others in the bottom 6 don't. I think you'll partially sink or swim with Kakko this season in a 3rd line role.

Let's go win this game and get some good vibes going again.

Kakko is way better than Edstrom. Are you kidding me with that shit? I don't mind edstrom on the fourth line though.

Like I said about Kappo before. His skating is just not good enough at this point. He also needs a center who can consistently get pucks to him in front of the net where he should be all the time. His skating just sucks.

That’s what I’d want. Edstrom on the 4th line. Kakko might have better talent, but he doesn’t know how to use it.

Potential doesn't mean shit anymore. He’s had how many years to show off his “potential” and doesn’t do it. I’m sick of hearing about his “potential.” Potential only matters if you have the drive to REACH that potential, and Kakko doesn’t. Brodzinksi has potential too, yet we all agree he shouldn’t be out there.
I was all in the “Team Kakko” bandwagon going into this year. I know he has potential, but how many players have had potential but never reach their potential? Maybe a change of scenery is good for him and will allow him to reach it. But we shouldn’t be occupying a spot on this roster for a guy like him next season that’s got potential but hasn’t shown any ability to reach that potential.

We gave up on Lafreniere last year. Now look at him. Chytil and Kakko works. Let's hope his head an hold together.

You have GOT to get the puck out there. That play should be shown on a loop as to why the Rangers are struggling right now. Cannot turn that over at the blue line, get the puck out instead of trying some fancy play. I just don't get it.

One guy who can go is Gustufason. He was a good signing and got a good value but Jones can take his spot.

When my choice is Edstrom or Kakko, I am playing Kakko. Am I saying long term I am tied to him, no, but this season on the current team yes, I am. And I don't think it is apples to apples to compare the Kakko potential to the Brod potential. One was # 2 pick in the draft, the other is a career journeyman.

Kakko's game is actually a playoff style of hockey. He just needs a better center than Wennberg. That guy chytil so we'll see if he plays in the playoffs.

and there is another example why he shouldn't be carrying a puck on the rush.
