    160+ minutes without a 5 on 5 goal. Thats a long time.

Team looks like a first round exit. Have a chance to put away a shit team and they’ve sucked. They’ll play them in Round 1 and it will be another 7 game bullshit series where they do everything to lose

I am envisioning the exact same scenario.

Yep I have no confidence in this team, as I said. Hockey, sense they are stupid.

It's a real shame what we are seeing with this team right now. The first goal is 100% a blueprint as to why the Rangers are struggling and is the opposite of the way you need to play in the playoffs. Easy out, but nope I'll try a fancy play, turned over in the zone, and in the back of the net. Second goal is a bad icing by Miller, lose a FO, lose battle on the boards, pass goes across to an open guy, and in the back of the net.

I don't know what happened, and maybe it is because these other teams raised their level, but the past 10 games or so the Rangers game is extra sloppy, and not valuing the puck, and looking to be fancy instead of making the high % play. I think the Rangers have some trouble with the risk/reward thing. They are always trying to make a play, and sometimes you need to live to fight another day.

I use the word shame, because you invest a season into a team, get excited for a potential long playoff run, and now you see it falling apart before they even get started. A big letdown.

Let's see if they can win the 3rd period.

I think the words you used are spot on, hockey sense is very low with a lot of this team. If they don't win today, they will not win the division, and they will play the Isles in round 1. In theory you would think we'd win that series, but I couldn't feel confident about it. And I have to think after leading the Met all season, blowing it in the last 2 games will not give them a confidence boost either. Again, really is a shame the way the team has struggled the past 10 games +/-.

We’re looking at a Rangers Islanders, first round series, and we need Chytil if we’re gonna win.

Team needed five on five help and they did nothing to help themselves in that regard.

The point is big as they beat Ottawa and they finish first in the league.

I believe they can get a tie vs Ottawa because they have the tiebreaker

I think they faked Chytil's injury a little bit. They're going to play him in the playoffs. Not sure how effective he will be though.

Glad they got the 2 points but there are no shootouts once the playoffs start.

Being fair, the Rangers played well today I think despite a few mistakes, which all teams make. And putting Miller back with Schneider was absolutely the right move by Lavy. He also needs to keep Rempe in over Brod.

Getting two points means if they beat Ottawa they are the top seed in the East. Getting one point meant they couldn't finish behind Boston with a win over Ottawa, getting the 2nd point means they cannot finish tied/behind the Canes if they beat Ottawa.

At this point I would say we'll play the Pens, but if Boston beats them tonight then it could be the Wings or Caps.

Go beat Ottawa and let the playoffs begin.

No, the first tiebreaker is RW's, and the Canes lead that 43 to 42 over us right now. So, if the Canes tie us, they win the Met. We get 2 points anyway and we win the Met and the East. We have the TB over Boston, so getting 1 point against Ottawa means they cannot pass us, we need 2 points to ensure the Canes cannot pass us.

And yes, 2 points against Ottawa also puts us first in the NHL.

If they keep Rempe in, the other guys will have to play more as he gets like 5 minutes a game. You don't want to tire them out right from the start.
