    here's the good stuff

    Scottie Pippen helping Portland get to the WCF wasn't good enough. Total waste of money. Garbage player indeed. No rings, get put in the Nate shredder.

    It seems to show there isn't much difference. Bad teams rate of winning 54 games increased by 8.4% over 5 years vs 10.7% for mediocre teams. The rate of increase is almost the same, but the bad teams are obviously starting from a lower level.

    But bad teams tend to be bad at drafting (which is why they're bad).

    I mean, they drafted Ginobili in the 2nd, and Parker in the late 1st. Kawhi in the mid 1st.

    They got their star then drafted well. Hoping we have the same luck with Flagg next year.
