Refs better start calling shit on Washington because we all know the refs won’t hesitate to call a penalty on Rempe.

Took care of business, very solid workmanlike effort, great to see. This is a team that shouldn't win more than a game against us. Go win game 2, that is where we have struggled in the past to take a two-game series lead. Don't lose focus, win game 2 and make this a very short series. We get the lead against the Caps and it will be very difficult for them to come back. Scoring first will be a big edge for us in this series.
Goodrow just gets playoff hockey when you put him with the right fourth line teammates. They will try to fight Rempe early in game two he’ll be able to draw a penalty if he keeps his cool.

Schneider wasn’t soft at all he was doing his job, which is keeping the puck out of the net unlike Trouba who’s been a bumbling idiot this year.
