don't forget, Portland squeezed Thybulle for two 2nds into the deal.

The Hart trade ended up being multi-day trade involving like 5 different teams. It was a big pile of players and picks.

(Then a rookie named Toumani ended up playing better then Thybulle)

A year later, giving Matisse 3 years, 33m to be a player/coach/mentor, and maybe even help win ~20 games is totally cool.

    Jody is happy.
    Cronin is happy
    the players are happy
Billups isn't always happy, but he's gotta coach this wreck. It's ok if Chauncey is a little grumpy on occasion.

So you like to sit on your high horse criticizing what others are discussing but can't handle a criticism thrown back your way. Good to know.

That isn't criticism. You attacked me as a fan.

That actually happened to me once in high school although I kind of had to figure it out. This dorky kid whose name was actually Tom Jones asked me if I like Carleen Leimer (attractive cheerleader!), and I answered something really non-commital, cuz kids at this school were always trying to think of ways to embarass me. Then a couple years later at college I ran into him and found out that he and Carleen were good buddies. I realized too late that Carleen had put him up to asking that..

I only "get into it" with people who decide to make it about something other than the topic. If you want to criticize my opinion that's fine, but you and others like you have instead made it about me as a person. And Sharpestriumph saying that lame shit about me not being a big fan because I find it tiresome to constantly rehash these trades is bullshit.

Understood. You have your thoughts and others have theirs. I just don’t see much of an issues with others continuing to discuss it.

Hart looks great again tonight. Just such an enjoyable player to watch play. Can fit with so many lineups and so many different types of stars.

I really loved watching Wes Matthews here, Brian Grant, Jerome and Buck. Lucas seemed to be of that type but that was before my time.

Great defenders, who hustled and put everything out on the floor.

Hope Scoot watches how Brunson plays inside the key.

Lucas was more like Karl Malone or Alonzo Mourning. Not quite as big, but just as physical, and meaner in some ways, back in the days when meaner was a virtue for big men. Classic enforcer and a good mid-range shooter

why are people still posting Josh Hart stats? I don't get it. Blazer fans are supposed to look ahead. There's no point in looking at previous trades. (unless it's mistakes Olshey made)

close your mind, there's no NBA, only the Blazers. Better yet, don't even look at the score anymore. Just enjoy the new rookies.

MSG had a chant going, "F..U..Reggie! {clap-clap clap, clap, clap}." Knicks radio chuckled and said "you can hear how excited the fans are right now."

for the Knicks in the playoffs, Hart is averaging 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists while shooting 44% on three's. He's averaging 6 more rebounds than Hartenstein and 5 more than OG

(he's also averaging 46.6 minutes so Thibs still has the habit of grinding his starters down)
