I don't know if any of you have seen this story, but it is nuts. Feel so bad for the guy and his family. https://www.kezi.com/news/local/lin...cle_3e52a6f6-13aa-11ef-b71b-032ed06f8b11.html I stayed at that hotel once. I could tell it was shady. I was in the elevator with a guy that obviously had a prostitute with him he was taking to his room. I didn't feel that comfortable there. I love Lincoln City. Just got back from staying there. It's also one of the safer coast towns in case the big earthquake happened.
100%. The guy was super fidgety and nervous. The girl smelled great, looked great and was all business. It was just a weird situation to be in the elevator with them.
I lived in Lincoln City in the 70's and early 80's. Very busy in the summer time but they rolled up the sidewalks in the winter back in those days. Last time down was last August and it just so happens that we stayed at the Ashley Inn.
My internet sleuthing led me to the killer being a native of the Virgin Islands, where he was a boxer and his parents were in a nasty, contentious, highly publicized divorce in the Virgin Islands in 2022. How he ended up homeless in Lincoln City is beyond me. Mental illness maybe? Sad.
Damn. He, Just beat the dude to death for his dog? I think I may have stayed there once. I have been to Lincoln City many times to go to the casino and the beach. Seems like a chill town.
Work some fights and billiard events at the casino. No thanks, that town is kinda’ sketch. When we go to the beach, we like smaller places like Cannon, Manzanita or Oceanside.
My best friend moved to LC when we were like 12 and my grandma also lived there, so i spent alot of time down there through middle/highschool. Those beach kids were rough. It was like trailer park boys for real, and this is coming from someone who grew up poor af. Had alot of fun down there though. Trashy beach girls are a gift from the lord.
The native element with the Siletz tribe being so close adds a twist to it as well. All Oregon beach towns the locals are ass backwards and there’s meth problems. my grandparents owned a beach house in Rockaway for years. My grandpa finally decided to sell it when the tweakers kept attempting to squat there. Apparently it’s a problem for a lot of people who own vacation homes along the coast
