Goodrow with such a clutch moment there. We needed that. That OT was the best period they’ve played this series so far.
It’s fn terrible. I cannot believe how bad the entire production is. The only improvement for one night was much better play by play.
Excellent win, I am not surprised as this team has stepped up all season when they needed to. I feel good about where we are. We had a little advantage in play tonight, played a structured game that will be needed against this team, and I am very confident about what this team can do on the road. I expect this to be 2-2 back to MSG next Thursday. I would love to win game 3 though to put some pressure on the Panthers. As for the lineup, I don't think Lav will play Rempe on the road. Not sure if we'll see Kakko or Wheeler in. I also would move Wennberg down, but at this point doubt it happens. Very happy tonight because I think this game can really jump start us in this series, I like where we are at, and even though we weren't at our best in game 1, the underlying numbers show we actually had some advantages and didn't finish. If we can get the PP going a bit, and I say we are due to score a PP goal, I think we can certainly win this series.
Who knows what the deal is with Vesey as well, he may be out. Could be Vesey and Rempe out, and Wheeler and Kakko in. That is their best scoring lineup, but you also have to weigh that against how it will be difficult to score regardless, so do you go more defensive. Again, interesting decisions for Lav coming up.
