Posted Subban saying how was it not a major on Trouba.

    Larry responded.

"I can tell you that it was for a better reason than you were able to avoid being called for majors on your litany of slewfoots."

They definitely tried to oversell the severity of it. It deserved a penalty but they got the review correct regarding it being a major.

Yep. Rodriguez laid on the ground trying to milk the major and then miraculously only missed a shift or 2. Should have got 2 for embellishment as well as tkachuk with his 9.5 dive.

Trouba fined 5 K for the hit; the maximum allowed per the CBA.

Maurice getting a little mouthy as well:

“Take the hat, pass it around. Poor lad. Poor Jake,” Maurice told reporters. “He won’t be able to eat.”

Considering Maurice's team is a bunch of diving bullies his sarcastic comments are interesting.

Rodrigues is a bitch. Can't even spell his last name right. The more I watch the replay, more he should act in Hollywood to replace the scrubs we have there.

Loved this from Brooks. The best part was that he sent it at 1AM. Brooksy must have had an extra cosmo at the bbq that night.

The ESPN coverage is terrible, I love Mess but him and Subban have zero chemistry on set. That show needs an overhaul.

Subban is a low IQ, Rangers hating pig. He picked the Rangers because he thinks it will jinx them. He's a fucking moron and his hockey comments are that of a learning impaired, dumbass.

Next time when Trouba tries to dump the puck from a neutral zone he should accidentally hit Maurice in his stupid mouth.

Subban has been high on the Rangers this postseason. Picked them against the Canes and the Panthers. Maybe he did it with ulterior motives, but he has talked us up as well. With that said, it doesn't mean he is good on ESPN or at his role. I think he is more about trying to put on a Subban show than adding actual insight. Messier is good and adds a perspective few can, but hockey for ESPN is a way down the list afterthought.

Brooks is on point right now; this article tells it like it is. That's why I found it interesting to see Maurice's comments as he leads a bunch of diving bullies as I wrote. And no, I don't think the NHL, or the refs are up to it as Brooks questions. The best way to deal with a bully is to punch them in the mouth. Do that by continuing to battle and not back down, and by making them pay with a few PPG's.

Rangers must muscle up to survive with Panthers out for blood (nypost.com)

Rempe stays in the lineup until the Rangers are eliminated from the playoffs if it were my call, especially if they have a lead in the series.
