    He's good, but hes not that good...Melky is hitting .295, 0 HR, 12 RBI in 88 AB'sWhile that is good, it doesnt really compare to.....Francisco Liriano 4-0, 1 SV, 2.11 ERA, 47 K in 62 IPJustin Verlander 7-3, 3.13 ERA in 72 IPJonathan Papelbon 0-1, .32 ERA, 20 SV in 28 IP

Am I mistaking, or did Papelbon pitch last year? Im pretty sure he did mop-up work.Liriano, will most likely fade, I think it will come down to Liriano and Melky.

I think that was after September 1, and if it wasn't, that's not enough to exaust the eligibility.

Which negates him from being a rookie.

Liriano is going to take it. He is a stud. He has a great fastball and a solid change up. Not to mention a 90 MPH Slider! He is the next Johan Santana.

Liriano has disappointed me lol. 4-1 with a 2.44 (i think) era is good. But what the fuck happened to all his strikeouts? C'mon Liriano! Pick it up!Uggla is a beast, and he'll win it in the NL (if he can).

you expand your rosters to 40 in september. so there are alot of young players who are in the bigs and may get some at bats, but it wouldn;t be fair to call tha their rookie year.

Papelbon is eligible to win ROY.
