All that zone time in the PP but no one wanted to shoot it. There’s literally zero reason for Fox to be out there. He’s not a threat to shoot with his weak wrist shots from the blue line.
Yup, until Fox starts shooting the PP is going to bog down. And they are still waiting a split second too long to flip the puck out of their zone.
Forwards are bailing out of the zone too quickly. They aren’t helping win board battles. They are assuming we have the puck and leaving before making sure we have it. Cullye just did it and it extended the zone time for Florida. Gotta get the puck out first then play offense.
The passing was fine, just too much passing. We need someone with a big shot at the blue line. Florida has no fear of standing in front of weak wrist shots. Gotta take hard shots and hope it hits Florida where they don’t have padding.
Seems like all of the d are trying to make quick exit passes which is likely the result of them being coached to do so.
You not watching the same game...the passes were either in the feet or behind..not tape to tape and not leading the receiver into a shooting position
Gus makes a play to where the forward was supposed to be but as I said the forwards are bailing out way too quickly. Leads to a chance and now all this pressure.
