These guys all have names. I may not know any of those names... But I'll tell you this, right now. They have names.
But wait? If we can't get any "Good" players with the first round picks how do we get "Good" players with second round picks?
I could be wrong. but even though there are no great players in this draft, it seems kind of deep. Guys in the second round might be almost as good as those in the first round, maybe some eventually better. Who the hell knows?
@highkin Today's Blazers predraft workout session participants: Daniss Jenkins (St. John’s) Dillon Jones (Weber State) Spencer Jones (Stanford) Jared McCain (Duke) Noah Penda (JA Vichy-Clermont) Armel Traore (Ada Blois)
I can't seem to find workouts for Ulrich Chomche. I'm wondering if he has a promise from someone. D69 thinks he is an under the radar prospect that is finally getting some exposure, but now I can't find that he is working out for anyone.
Jenkins 23 year old 6'3" combo guard, posssibly undrafted Dillon Jones 22 year old 6'6" wing, hard-nosed, high energy, great rebounder . early 2nd round Spencer Jones 23 year old 6'7" maybe 3 and D, possibly undrafted McCain 20 years old. Not sure why they are looking at a undersized SG who might go in first round? Penda, 19, French, 6'8" with 7'0" WS. not a good shooter, good offball offensively and good passer. possibly undrafted Traore, also French 21 years old 6'9". 7'3" WS, 3 and D? second round
Dillon Jones has built a relationship with the greatest Weber State player of them all, 7-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard, who has helped him during these NBA workouts. “Two main things he told me was, don’t try to make it to the NBA,” Jones said. “Just try to be the best version of yourself. Going to Weber after him, it could be easy to be like, ‘oh, I’m going to try to be like Dame,’ or something like that. But, I never tried to do that. The fact that he told me that kind of confirmed it for me.” https://www.abc4.com/sports/from-weber-state-to-the-nba-dillon-jones-ready-to-make-an-impact/
