I think Ron is way more likely to be there than Salaun.

1-15 there doesn’t seem to be a big disparity in talent gap.

Which leads me to believe there will be lots of surprises in this draft.

What role player is each franchise more fancy on.

Seen okc is interested in Ware for more size, would you be interested in trading up to get hi, especially if we draft a guard/wing player at 7?

I don't see how. I can see the possibility of us choosing Salaun ahead of Holland (even if I wouldn't) but all those other teams in the 9-12 range? I would be surprised to see Holland there at 14, but I would not be surprised to see Salaun there. Having said that I think the more likely scenario is neither will be there at 14.

That forum hurts my eyes. I can't stand it. It is weird to me some people left this place in protest to exclusively post there.

Id love it if all 3 (Holland, Buzelis, & Williams) were available too.

As far as best case outcomes of all 3 players (for fit on the Blazers), Id rank them Buzelis, Williams, Holland

As far as floor, Id rank them Holland, Buzelis, Williams

For most likely outcome (65% peak), Id rank them Buzelis, Holland, Williams

Im really scared of how passive Cody plays

I'm not so worried about the fact that Cody deferred to his teammates after his injury. He was a freshman on a team with two upperclassmen that will be drafted and there were only upperclassmen on that team who got regular big minutes besides Cody. He showed his potential in certain games and in other games he let a team that had been together do what they had been doing before he got there without letting himself completely disappear.

I like Cody the best out of the three, he wasn't passive on defense and he showed how skilled he was on O without being a me first player. I might like Salaun better than any of these three because his ceiling seems so high but he has a much lower floor than any of the guys we're talking about here.

they should rename that place Dame Trolling Edge. I posted a positive goodbye comment on the day Lillard requested a trade, and immediately got attacked and insulted. It's become an online bully fest, with writers that bold faced lie about the bad basketball, and childish hacks in the comment section trying to boss the other Blazer fans around.

Ah, I was talking about RealGm. So there is another one out there. I stopped reading Blazers Edge long ago. I'm just not a fan of Marang when he was posting there.

RealGM is still alive? I perused that place about 6 months ago. It looked about as active as a sleeping snail.

In the 2023 season, Marang launched an assault on Blazer Edge fans after a tough losing stretch. How dare fans criticize Billups coaching & in-game management!! It was not calm, we all became stupid Blazer fans. Many bad words spewed from Danny's fingers. I entered the shouting fest to back up fan complaints with numbers and facts from recent games. Basically tried to calm Marang down. When Danny's road rage finally stopped, all the comments were quickly deleted by Marang. That's not even a sports debate. It was some sort of deranged online bully sucker punch. He was using Blazers Edge to blow off steam.

It's not easy to have a sales job, where you have to lie to people who know you're lying. Normal in a political campaign, it's an oddity in the sports realm.

Marang is a goober who thinks his opinion matter so much and acts like an insider. He’s a fine enough person. But he’s not some kind of ‘’insider’

Remember the Cubs fan that messed up the foul ball in the world series? Danny is such a dedicated Blazers fan, he's willing to reach over the fence and doink every foul ball every time. Because he believes it's how the game should be played, no matter what anyone else tells him.

Yeah, Boob No More left us to RealGM and still posts there. Wish he would come back. This is easily the best Blazers board and has been since the fall of basketballforum.com

I like the Blazer RealGM board but it doesn't have much activity compared to this place. The Trades board can be a cesspool sometimes

the problem with RealGM is they don't allow profanity, and being a Blazer fan requires profanity. Mark Twain said "profanity offers a comfort not available in prayer" and that kind of sums up being a Blazer fan. Prayers don't help, that's for sure
