What Democrat masterminded this operation? Do we call it Operation Sandy Hook Skumbag Justice?

 

I noticed the left has shifted away from focusing on issues, to focusing on personalities. If you can bear to listen to any left-wing media, it's constant attacks on people, demonizing them: Trump, Putin, Jordan Peterson etc...there's a guy, Sam Seder, and almost all his videos are just trying to rip on Jordan Peterson. Of course, the right does it as well, but not nearly to the same degree.

Elon Musk is another example, he buys Twitter, and someone inserted the "Elon Musk is evil" cartridge into their brain. Now they love electric cars but hate Tesla because Musk owns it.

 

It’s hard to argue a billion-some dollar defamation ruling wasn’t highly politicized. Everything in our current society is. Whether it’s Trump shit, Hunter Biden, or Alex Jones, one side is constantly trying to make an example out of the other. It’s extremely unhealthy for a society and you can’t place all the blame on one side or the other, or pin it on a crazy with a microphone.

 

We can ALL do ourselves a favor by acknowledging the political biases that exist and admitting how damaging they are. Pretending it’s not a thing, or that only one side is doing it is foolish and we’ll never see a cohesive society as long as that game is played. What happens if/when Trump or another republican is elected and the tables turn again? Lawsuits and witch hunts against democrats, republican vengeance, more bullshit. The other cheek of the same ass. As long as there are two camps taking cheap potshots at one another for revenge the country is just going to keep spiraling downward. We’re all getting duped by the two party system. We’re living in a classic example of late stage empire. Everything has turned to a clown show and the people have been turned against one another to distract from the looting of the country.

 

So, you didn't answer the question. I have seen no political influence.

I don't want people with talk shows to be able to say the things Alex Jones said about Sandy Hook without the victims to have recourse. And the way he doubled down on it should absolutely have consequences.

What happened to Alex Jones is exactly what I want to happen to skumbags like Alex Jones.

OJ wasn’t a highly politicized figure, nor did his, we’ll call them “shenanigans”, occur during such a politicized time.

 

It's not a personal vendetta. I don't even know the guy. I just know that only a skumbag would tell lies and spread misinformation like that for money.

People shouldn't be allowed to lie about other people like that. The law worked as it should. This has been the best outcome for a functioning judicial system and society.

 

That crazy with a microphone shouldn't be able to do that job ever again without making those families rich. That's not political. He's a piece of shit who committed a despicable act against victims during the most trying moments in their lives. Honestly, that's on the same level as murder, IMO. In respect that we should make sure he's never a threat to do that again.

I absolutely want that to be a warning for any other skumbags who may think to try that in the future.

 

I was in the schizo streets when Sandy Hook conspiracy theories became a thing on the internet in real time. Alex Jones just repeated what others were saying, notably Wolfgang Halbig and Sofia Smallstorm. The narrative that Alex Jones was THE Sandy Hook guy is total garbage. Now, do I feel bad for him, am I defending him etc, no, emphatically no. But I do believe he's been sort of made the face of something that was more or less just air time fodder on his show between Chimeras and Chinese Superweapons. If this was strictly about the parents, which it definitely still is, Wolfgang would be working at Burger King until the day he died for doing shit like this:

But he's a nobody, with nothing, therefore he gets buried and Alex Jones goes down in the history books as the lone Sandy Hook freak and has to sell ass instead of snakeoil to pay rent. Do not get lightswitched brained by this post and assume it's another casualty on Alex Jones Hill. The only good thing Alex ever did is have Patrice O'Neal on his show.

 

Alex Jones had the bigger audience and he definitely kept pushing the bullshit after a judge told him not to.

The law doesn't have to get everyone to be effective.

 

Alex did none of the "work." Everything on his show was horseshit interns were reading on 4chan and godlikeproductions, or Halbig's long defunct blog. It's just not that satisfying of a story in that context. We all get together and pelt rotten fruit at the evil Sandy Hook conspiracy man even though it was just the opener for the worst Obama gun control rant you've ever heard in your life back in 2013. Sandy Hook has been retconned as the signature Alex Jones topic, which is plainly false.

 

That's fine, but a lot of people listened to him and trusted his take. And he kept pushing it. I knew when he said it and I didn't listen to his show except for clips that people were talking about.

I was fine with him being sued and I'm fine with the ruling. I'd be fine with it if somebody else were hammered the same way, as long as there was evidence they were doing the same thing.

 

Racial tension isn’t politics. That era wasn’t wholly viewed through a left-right political lens like every issue is today. When we look back on this current time, it will be completely defined by this toxic brand of political partisanship the country is engaged in. I say we’ll look back on this time, that is, if we ever get smart enough to point our anger upward instead of at each other to survive that long.
