simons, grant & ayton will likely stand in their way, cause these guys want shots and it will slow down youngins development

in game practice is the best possible practice, let them play with freedom and through mistakes

sharpe will be in his 3rd season, he has to make a leap, you dont want to push him down in the pecking order

he shouldnt, theres nothing to gain by playing in the summer league

players are bad, selfish, reckless, he should spend time practicing individually until pre-season starts and then obviously practice within the team and play actual games

Yep. I can see an undrafted rookie diving after a loose ball and taking out Scoots knee or something like that. Summer league is a glorified tryout for whatever team you happen to be playing for but even more than that players know coaches from multiple teams are watching and there is a chance they get a spot on another roster because of what they showed in Summer League.

Chet didn’t play his first year. Still don’t think Scoot plays but of course I don’t know?

It's super important Scoot doesn't miss any game with an injury this year. 1 win for the Blazers record could be the difference in making the ?

Let's put bubble wrap around Scoot this whole off-season.

He probably shouldn't practice either. Maybe he just shouldn't leave his house. Not certain if he should get out of bed, I mean what if he slips?

wasn't it a re-injury or something like that?

I remember Mike Barrett going into detail about it (also for some reason I have a memory of MB talking about Joels testicles being swollen up to the size of a grape fruit or something...maybe that wasn't Joel)

I got up one morning and while simply stepping into my underwear, I threw my back out. Great...so now I have to stretch before attempting to dress?

one summer evening I was in the kitchen barefoot. I was making something, don't remember what...wasn't paying a lot of attention and when I was looking in the cabinet for something, I accidentally knocked a sharp knife off the counter and it stuck in the top of my foot. I screeched much profanity on high volume and bent over to pull the knife out but before I got there the weight of the knife tipped it over and it fell, making the gash bigger, bloodier, and more painful. I picked up the knife and straightened up slamming the back of my head into the corner of the cabinet door I left open in a pain/panic mode. I was bleeding from two wounds, raging and cross-eyed, and was headed for a first aid kit but my wife started screaming at me "don't you dare fucking bleed on the carpet you idiot". WTF? So she had to get the first aid supplies while I pressed paper towels to my foot and the back of my head at the same time. That's not easy by the way

Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla slips in shower, reinjures right knee
    • Published: Mar. 07, 2010, 6:09 p.m.

    By
Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla on Saturday reinjured his surgically-repaired right knee and will require another surgery, the team said Sunday.

Przybilla reinjured the knee Saturday morning when he slipped while entering the shower at his home in Milwaukee, Wisc.

He flew to Portland on Saturday and had a magnetic resonance imaging test Sunday morning at the office of team doctor Don Roberts. The MRI showed a tear of the patella tendon that was repaired.

Przybilla, 30, ruptured his right patella tendon in a Dec. 22 game at Dallas. He was 10 weeks post-operation and had just started to walk without a brace.

The team said there is no timetable for his return. After his original injury and surgery, the team estimated a return at 6-to-8 months. But a source said because this is a re-injury, the timetable for his return can be more difficult to determine. Training camp is seven months away.

The injury all but guarantees Przybilla will exercise his option to return next season to the Blazers at more than $6 million. Przybilla had been deciding whether to opt-out and test his worth on the free agent market.

A 10-year veteran, the 7-foot-1 Przybilla was a reliable rebounder and one of the team’s best defenders. An established veteran in his sixth season in Portland, Przybilla was also an important voice in the locker room and was voted by his teammates as a co-captain along with Brandon Roy.

Przybilla averaged 4.1 points and 7.9 rebounds in 30 games this season. He has 593 blocks with the Blazers, ranking him sixth on the all-time list, one behind Clyde Drexler.

I hope they’re practicing his shooting and finishing around the rim.

Draft Cody Williams and make him work out in the gym with Scoot all summer.

I could have posted a video of him shooting and finishing around the rim and somebody would have posted that they were hoping he was working on his handles.

im not saying scoot wont improve during the off-season, but after seeing ben simmons looking really, really good every year in the off-season videos, i tend not to believe what i see in the videos anymore
