Who do you think Sacramento should take? Try to be a fan or the GM for the team, rather than who you want to have them take based on your Blazers fandom. Tomorrow morning I'll set up another poll with the results factored in . Atlanta: Alex Sarr, France Washington: Zacharie Risacher, France Houston: Reed Sheppard, Kentucky San Antonio: Stephon Castle, UConn Detroit: Matas Buzelis, G-League Charlotte: Donovan Clingan, UConn Portland: Tidjan Salaun, France San Antonio: Nikola Topic, Serbia Memphis: Dalton Knecht, Tennessee Utah: Cody Williams, Colorado Chicago: Ron Holland, G-League Oklahoma City: Zach Edey, Purdue Sacramento Portland
I went Ware because I think the best players remaining are small dudes and with Monk and Fox they're set for little dudes and another big guy could actually help them get into the playoffs next year.
I think they could use a backup forward. Da Silva seems like a good fit in their roster. On a separate note--wasn't Missi being basically mocked at right around the same level as Ware? He doesn't deserve inclusion in the poll? Also, I'd suggest JaKobe Walter also should be listed.
I think I've only seen Missi go in the lottery in one recent mock (although I haven't seen them all, of course!) while Ware seems to be in at least half. Nobody has voted for Missi or Walter in the mock draft so I haven't added them to the list of options. It's crazy because I could probably justify listing a dozen or so guys and find a mock draft or two to support it.
Yeah, I went with Ware as well. I don't like seeing 3 small SGs left on the board for us. But it does not surprise me. Regardless I do like George.
Alex Len is a loafy unplayable lunker. Sac-Town needs a new 7 footer. They're definitely grabbing Ware.
I was thinking that, too, this morning... hopefully some teams in front of us snap up one or two (or three?) of the shorter guys who have pretty good upside but are rough in terms of fit with our team. Carter, Dillingham, and McClain all may turn out to be pretty darn good.
