I’m looking at Ed O’s opening post of this thread where he has Edey going to OKC at 12. And my post, in response to Ed O and his thread, is that I believe Edey will slip (past OKC at 12) and fall into the lap of the Blazers. The negativity is exhausting at times in here yikes
My dark horse candidate (assuming just a few guys I like were already picked) has been and continues to be Furphy. Based on tape and a particular line of thinking by someone else … Years later in a ‘redraft’ I can see Furphy as the highest riser. I would love to see him as a Blazer and would willingly fess up and eat crow if he failed mightily.

Well, you seem confused about how this whole thing has been working for two weeks (and last year)... it is what has happened. so there's no slipping from where he went in the draft, because that's where he went. Hypothetically you could have made a series of threads about an alternate reality where we voted someone else for OKC and Sacramento and therefore he "slipped", but that's not how this is intended to work. Haha
The Ringer has him going 12. That Athletic has him going 14 to Portland in their mock today. Not proving you wrong (I don't think it would be "slipping", either ) but wanted to share the best answer I could.

I am enjoying how spread out this vote is. It is entirely consistent with the "who knows?" nature of this pick and draft generally.
Obviously the Blazers' brass saw our lack of enthusiasm and consensus at this pick and traded away from it.
