I agree on this roster turning into somewhat of a watchable product, at least in my mind. The big man rotation is set, whether or not DA is traded. Not a fan of getting rid of him for less than a 1st, so I’ll assume he stays here. I like having Clingan as someone we can play in place of DA or maybe even beside DA if we decide to try the two-big lineup like the Cavs and Wolves have the last couple seasons. Avdija’s addition just gave me a jolt of excitement I haven’t had in our forward rotation in awhile. I did grimace seeing the draft compensation, but he is going to make Scoot and Shae’s development soo much easier with his shooting and playmaking. Avdija and Camara look like they can both be very good (in Camara’s case, great) on ball defenders and are big forwards. Either guy will be replaced with a better talent eventually if we want to contend, but you think about what kind of defense this team can be if Clingan has any kind of impact that Kessler had and one of Shae or Scoot really turning the corner on that side of the floor. I really like grabbing one of Chomche or Djurisic. They are both really interesting, both non factors this season (Djurisic will stay in Europe for at least a season right?). I think stashing an intriguing talent is the way to go. Then grab a guy that would be ready to play right away.
I have a feeling we might be getting Cam Christie and I'm not sure how I feel about that. There are about ten players I'd be more interested in, but then again, I didn't get to see him work out.
Ooh, forgot about him. ONE of the following WILL be available at 34: Filipowski Furphy (my pick) Kolek Klintman. Interesting. I know we worked out Filipowski - did we work out any of the others?
If Grant is headed out, I would think they take a PF type with one of the two picks. Klintman Filipowski? Chomche Smith Oso ....or someone with some PF size/skills. Then I can see a PG type as Scoot is the only real PG left on the roster although Ant can play there (how long is he here?) and Banton can facilitate from a point-forward type position.
I would add Freeman. However, I don't think they will (or should) pick according to need in the second round, unless you can't really judge BPA. I want older glue guys like McCullar and Ingram, just because I think they will help our young guys gel, but I could easily see going long-term project with Djurisic, Ajinca and Nunez. My fear is they're just going to trade these picks.
I like Freeman....just wish he was a bit taller. Also like Mogbo, if not just from a great story standpoint. I could easily see Djurisic if he is still there at #40.
I wouldn't be disappointed. Of course, I can say that for a lot of players. But his shot plays. His shot really plays. He can attack closeouts really well or reset and still shoot. His handle is good. Poor man's Klay. I doubt he'll ever been close to Klay's level defensively, but his frame, length and shot certainly reminds you of Klay. To people who wanted Knecht, I imagine Christie would be a great consolation prize.
Mogbo and McCuller would be awesome. Bona and Shead, too. All those guys are elite defensively and McCuller would be ready day 1. Klintman and Djurisic have potential as connective pieces. Edwards could be an option. I don't care for Filipowski or Smith, but they're fodder for picks 31-33. Mogbo/McCuller are who I'm hoping for the most.

I think the Blazers could take ANYONE since Cronin said it last night he wants players to push each other so all options on the table cept maybe another Center but even that under the right conditions might happen. In no order I will give my top 3 picks who I would like to see and I mentioned one last night in another thread. 1) Kolek -- good shooter and creator and this team could use some more shooting 2) Mogbo -- He is a freak - period 3) Djurisic -- Shows flashes but draft and stash him for a year or 2
