Yes we do, we have a chance to draft Cooper Flagg if we suck this year

TimeLord to Chicago in efforts to get our pick back. This way we don’t “have to tank” next year. Or do we keep him, give him some minutes to show that he’s healthy, then trade him at the deadline for 2005 draft capital?

    Ant / Scoot
    Sharpe / Thybulle
    Avdija / Camara
    Grant / Williams III
    Ayton / Clingan

This is not a bad team but we need to suck at least one more year for Cooper Flagg

    2005 was a weak draft

    Black Lives Matter

Saying that in a thread about Clingan makes as much sense as saying Free Palestine in thread about Advija.

Yes, that seemed apparent listening to the press conference. Joe is not expecting much from him in the first year...which is smart.

The more I think about it the more I am ok with drafting him. We always need multiple centers in order to survive a full season. And if we can't re-sign Ayton to a reasonable contract in two years we will not be hurting for a starting center.

I assume we will trade Williams if he can show he is healthy. Someone might be desperate for a center by the trade deadline.

It would be interesting to experiment with Clingan and Ayton on the floor together for a few minutes a game.

That would be a big lineup

    Clingan
    Ayton
    Avdija
    Sharpe
    Scoot

    Scoot / Ant
    Sharpe / Thybulle??
    Avdija / Camara
    Grant?? / Timelord?? / Walker
    Ayton / Clingan

Goal is to use Thybulle, Grant, Timelord (not necessarily all) and whatever other pieces into something like

Jaren Jackson Jr, Lauri Markannen, Evan Mobley, Keegan Murray, Jabari Smith Jr
