I had no clue this 2nd round had exceptional talent until this thread. Breaking news to me.

I'm hearing, unfortunately, that we had to give up 40 to get them to take HCP.

Do you think that a Rasta-GM'd team would have lost a lot more games than the 110 the team has under Cronin?

Giving the benefit of the doubt to the organization at this point is really hard for me to do

Wait, now we're bashing Banton? There comes a time when you just have to admit you're an unhappy person, and rather than tracking every Blazer move, you give a little attention to yourself. Banton, a 6'8 guard with ball handling, passing, length, and scoring ability, came in an put up impressive numbers when given the opportunity. Sure, he was a little over-aggressive, which makes sense when you're not being seen, so there is room for improvement. Good grief.

There's legitimately 10 solid rotation players in this year's 2nd round, counting guys in the "interesting projects" category. It's rare that happens. We need to dump Grant and Thybulle's contracts off the books and be smart about it.

Not in the Serbian league, which is what the roster would be filled with. They are probably the summer league champs in the Serbian league. The "Rasta Pink Belgrade".

What this really means is we are not moving ant, grant or ayton. Status quo

That you are defending Banton is so hilarious to me. He's 24, he shoots under 41% from the field, has a career 1.77 assist:turnover ratio, and just generally isn't a good NBA player.

You don't have to be an unhappy person to admit that, but I think you need to be a homer contrarian to deny it.

So we could not have signed them as two way players? Replaced Ashton Hagans, Justin Minaya or Ibou Badji?

If you ARE a happy person then I question your Blazer fandom. Of course, I'm also a Leeds fan, so it's a double whammy

Kudos for beating a dead horse joke ten years past its relevance.

Presumably because they had cap room? This is what OKC used to do before they got good.
