This may be the quickest 10 game collapse this side of the Angels/Mariners in 95

The roster is poorly constructed. The primary goal of fielding this group of players was, is, and will continue to be, to save money. They may go after the guy on the white sox who is always injured and probably deplete the prospects in doing so. They are a 500 team.

At least the Mariners didn't lose today. Sadly the Astros didn't either.

Gotta win 2 out of 3 on EACH series if we are to have the lead going into the break.

But it's the Mariners, and when we build division leads, it's only to lose them as quickly as we got them.

Unless an offensive miracle happens I don’t have much confidence. I figure 10 Ks by the 5 inning in each game

We will find a way to strike out 4 times each inning.

nahhh, they would shift the 3rd baseman behind the catcher after the 4th inning. Passed ball rover

What a time to be alive.

They intentionally walk a .200 hitter and the other 2 .200 hitters get outs with the bases loaded.

    This fucking team man.

We gained a game on Texas and Houston which is what matters but God damn man that was a train wreck. Logan pitched great, only made one mistake, and it took multiple mistakes to even scratch runs across.

the Mariners struck out 15 times? They should put wires on these guys and Seattle could generate electricity.

Welp, we've finally done it. When was the last time a division leader had the worst BA in the entire league? Fucking disgraceful.

That is why picking up a halfway decent bat via trade won’t change much imho. There is a systemic offensive problem, both mentally and physically. Have to bring in a new management and coaching staff. It is a damn shame. Starting pitching WL numbers would be so different with even below average hitting. But the worst? Just put Garver out of his misery and DFA him. Putting an AAA guy in his spot would be no worse. Same for Haniger, Robles, Polanco etc. they are all minor league players and or should retire or go to another country and play.

I agree with those names, they are killing us. Haniger is meh, and isn't terrible off the bench. A lot of these strikeouts come in deep counts, which I can live with, but Garver is just BRUTAL. Watching him pick up 2 or 3 K's a night on 1-2 and 0-2 counts makes me shake my head every time.

just turned the game on, and watched the Twins spank a meatball 430ft. Blazer fans should be banned from participating.
