It just means that if we do send Ant that we'd be taking back close to equal salary. I think it does make Ant going there less likely.
I mean I don't think Cronin was really planning on trading Ant this year. He's on a great contract still.
That's a mistake. By his own words, we need to clear the runway for Scoot and Shae. His value will only diminish.
Let me repeat myself ANT is not being traded this offseason unless a team blows Cronin out of the water with an offer so you can hope , pray , cross all fingers etc BUT Ant will still be a Blazer -- LOL
I think Ant can play lead guard on a team that wants to play a lot of P&R and has a ton of defense around him. Best case scenario is him playing the 1 with a guy like Paolo or Scottie Barnes but it looks like both of those guys have their guard support lined up. I think the Spurs still make sense for Ant and I'm sure there are teams interested in Ant that are outside of my focus.
