I'm sure the Wizards could be approached to see if they would take a specific pick out of the three but I'm betting we were the ones that wanted to leave it a little less rigid to make sure we kept the best of the three. I sincerely doubt that we can trade any of the three specifically because now the draw for the Wizards is that they are still getting the better of two picks and can't get stuck with the worse. If we traded let's say our pick specifically we would still be guaranteed to get the best pick between the Celtics and Bucks in 2029 but then the Wizards would also be guaranteed to get the worst.

So I think we've tied ourselves to only having the option of trading those three picks in relation to the other two at this point. It's the only thing that would make sense and be fair to the Wizards unless there is some really complicated language in the trade.

The trade of Brogdon (MBEC), and having draft capital, has the Blazers coming out of a weaker draft with a 23-year-old who may be the kind of multi-tool SF they’ve been trying to get … along with one of their highest targets in the draft — even after falling to 7.

What happens with Time Lord (and Ayton to an extent) then becomes what the Blazers got for Lillard.

The Blazers also have first dibs on Milwaukee's first-round picks for 3 consecutive years, 2028-2030.
2028 is still up in the air, though, because the Blazers still owe the Bulls a non-lottery 1st round pick.
If the Blazers have to give their 1st round pick to Chicago in 2028 they won't have their own pick to swap.

Edit: I believe all the picks/pick swaps with Milwaukee are unprotected, is that correct?

Also, what happens if the Blazers need to give Chicago the Blazers' 2028 1st-round pick?

Does the 2028 pick swap with Milwaukee transfer to Chicago??

They could still trade the #1 and #3… right?

Once their (Por/Mil/ Bos) placements are determined after the lottery or regular season (I assume).

I am sure they could trade two of the three. The trade says Washington gets one pick, the middle of the three, but if two are gone, they get the one left. If Portland did not write it up this way they are foolish and further tied up picks.

If I had to guess, it's the second one. They had cap space and they figured they'd use it to sign someone that they can flip at the deadline. It's not a horrible idea.

Exactly. Ayton is 6 years younger and can still fit with a rebuild. Jonas at 32 is a head-scratcher

Technically Ayton is who we got for Nurkic and Time Lord is who we got for Gerald Wallace but sure

Perhaps we did. If he ends up the player I think he can be, I won't care.

that dude quit watching the Blazers. He has no idea we needed better players. Quick can go find fake Toradol accusations somewhere else, and leave the Blazers alone.
