I’d do that deal in a heart beat. Lebron has to be desperate can he supply enough pressure to get them to give us an unprotected pick in 2029. They should be awful by then. If they go into next season with no big additions they stand no chance in West

    Sortof.
There was someone over at RealGM that at least mentioned his name as a possibility that he'd be available.

there was...a long-time poster (occasional) on the Blazer RealGM posted that he was told, by a team source , that Portland was working pretty hard on landing Avdija in a 3 team deal that included Ant and Orlando

Huh? DeRozen’s one of the best shooters in the league and is a much better player than Grant.

Yes, but Grant will cost them Knecht (shooting).

DeRozan's strictly midrange. Last of a dying breed. The modern game needs threes.

But the question is, are other teams very open to the idea of trading for him?

Whether he is right now at 35 (next month) or not doesn't make any difference. The key is who is the better fit next to LBJ and
AD. Living here in LA all I hear is they need a forward to spread the floor for their two stars. Not someone who likes to attack the paint. LBJ wants the ball in his hands to make plays for others. That will never change IMO

Jerami is seriously perfect for them. He could actually be the difference maker they didn't have last season that would get them to the finals. I think they can pick the players they send to us to match salaries if they just give us their 2029 FRP unprotected and their 2031 FRP with protections that make it so it's likely to convey but only when it's outside of the top ten or something.

If they like Knecht they can keep him, keep Vando, even keep DLo or if they really want to offload DLo send him over and maybe we can flip him for some extra value.

We could possibly take the fillers included in a grant to LA deal, and send them to the 76ers, who have enough cap space to absorb contracts, in exchange for picks.
