I think NOLA might have serious interest in Ayton. Maybe we could be a third team in an Ingram trade where they get Ayton and a FRP and we get a bad contract, prospect and a FRP.
I don't think the Knicks can offer much, can they? That's why I'm wondering what they'll do about their center situation.
$62.8 million a year is absurd. Seems we are about 10 years away from $100 Mill a year player. No player is worth this much money. It's just sports. Yikes.
Saddiq Bey and Precious Achiuwa are still unsigned. Any rumors on where they're expected to end up? If Ant/Grant's salaries do get dumped, either of these guys could conceivably be interesting additions to our rebuild.
i wonder if lebron sees his team striking out at every corner and decides to just force a S&T to the warriors.
Magic re-signed Goga and working on an extension for Isaac - but Mo is out there hanging. Are they going to break up the Wagner boys?
No, they are worth more than that much money. They don't even work in a free market where their pay can accurately correlate with what they are making the business they are in. Max salaries specifically, even more than salary caps, really skew things against the superstar players especially in this sport. Superstars make their teams and the league more money in the NBA than in any other league in professional sports (maybe not soccer, I don't know enough about that to say). So the bottom line is most of us on this forum watch most of the Blazers games. A lot of us watch dozens of other games that are nationally broadcast. Then there are others with NBA league pass that catch a couple of games three or four days a week, some recorded. The money that you see the players making is a minimized reflection of what the teams and league as a whole make. Unless you're a communist (which I can respect but don't agree with) these guys are worth every cent they make and the superstars are worth more.
you don't have Root ?? You're missing the Mariners in Cerrano mode. "Jobu hit straight pitch very far. Jobu no let me hit curving ball."
Yeah I just have the league pass app so I can click on any game from any team all season long on my phone, computer or tv. I don't have a Tesla but my little brother does and he catches up on games from around the league during his commute. League Pass used to be worth it and now with it's price decrease it's a steal for a basketball fan.
