Still, TS% is weighted by FTr. eFG is not, and Ant's .523 was slightly higher than Grant's .516 last year.

no... that was blabber Haberstoh hoping Ayton would start launching from deep. Those 30 & 18's weren't good enough for Tom. He wanted the bonus points on his fantasy team.

It's ironic that normally I do not care what the Lakers do but still monitor them cause they are the Lakers and we Blazer fans do not like them but now I want them to do something even if it screws up OUR plan. Even if they pivot in another direction then we can at least start talking etc about what other teams might want Grant. What makes it worse is it seems like it might be a power play between a team I hate and a player who I kind of used to respect but now I think is a complete ass and this is slowing shit down from happening.

The Lakers better able to contend with Grant (and Time Lord?) (but not win it all) in 2025 — and the Blazers drinking their milkshake with 2 unprotected picks when they suck for the 2029 and 2031 drafts — is a trade off I can endorse.

Chaincey said that knowing he would be our best if not 2nd best scorer for 2023-2024. It was more stating the obvious like daying Jeramin is gunna have to carry the scoring load with Dame gone

Take this with a grain of salt. No idea how credible this info is.

It's summarizing what Irwin is saying here.

He also just mentioned that Portland doesn't want to sell low on Rob Williams. So no point trading him unless someone is paying legit value for him.

No rush to trade grant. Lakers need to fork over two picks for him at the least imo. I would pick grant over derozen if I were them.

I wanna keep Rob. Trade Grant/Thybulle. We might need Rob backing up Cling Kong when we trade Ayton at the deadline.

Yes, Blazers have the clear advantage.

    They cannot afford Markannen.

Would they rather have derozan or Grant?

And I agree about Timelord. If Grant is not here, he can play backup PF. We can showcase him and get better value at the deadline than simply throwing him as filler

Part of me wonders if we aren't using the Lakers to drive up the price on a team like the Warriors.

So worst case scenario we keep Rui and trade Gabe. What can we get for him? He is not a bad player. Maybe two 2nds?

Get a 1st and a couple of 2nds from LA and you end up with a 1st and 3 2nds and Hachimora?
It is still better than letting him walk instead of not signing him. But I say no.

    Good info in his thread.
Definitely does not read like he's making info up.

It looks like Gabe+1st would be included in the trade regardless. The question is DLo or Rui.

Personally, Id prefer Rui to try and flip.

If they're wanting a big to move AD to the 4, we can throw in Reath fir the extra pick

I doubt Gabe has any value. I would anticipate that you'd have to pay to dump his contract

So you think Rui is easier to flip? It's hard to believe DLO has fallen this far.

Yeah, I would think DLO would be easier to move. Especially since he's in his final year.

I'm intrigued with the idea of sending DLO to a team that wants to move salary. Brooklyn has been mentioned as a team that would be willing to take back DLO for someone like Cam Johnson. I think Johnson is someone that could easily be moved at the trade deadline. The goal would be to eventually turn DLO into a pick or a player that will turn into a pick.

IMO, both Rui and DLo have value, which is why the deals mentioned in the LakersSupply tweets include one or the other, but not both. If LA included both, and a pick, I wouldn't be surprised if Cronin would be able to flip each for even more draft capital.

I am guessing its mostly because both make about 19M. Add in Gabe's 10M and you get 29M to match Grant.

Having both would mean Portland takes +7M in salary, which they obviously don't want to do.

I don't think either has much, if any value, but Rui is the more useful player.
