    just realized the Lakers signed Max Christie to a Nassir Little contract. Why didn't he take less money to help the Lakers avoid the luxury tax ??

    simple scapegoat: blame the kid that worked hard in the G-League to get an NBA contract

    watching a Laker fan meltdown..

    "ESPN showed Bronny highlights, and said he was "cooking". He had 4 points, shot 22%, was getting burned on defense, and ESPN said he was cooking ?!?"

    Knecht was mocked in the top 10, by him falling to the Lakers, they (Pelinka) may feel ok to let their picks go (currently pretending hard to get)

    Grant for 2 firsts coming soon

    LeBron tweet in March of 2023,

    "Bronny definitely better then some of these cats I've been watching on League Pass today."

    We'll have to wait and see if King James advanced scouting is correct. If Bronny goes to the G-League, I wouldn't hire LeBron as lead scout.

    The Lakers are staying open for business because they know that before training camp they'll pull the trigger on Jerami. How much it costs them is anyone's guess.

    Jerami ain't leaving. The Lakers would make him play the entire season. *Troll alert, i know that's a mean thing to say. But look at his last 3 seasons in Detroit before joining Portland. Something goes haywire with his legs near the end of the season. Maybe he's not faking injuries? Grant is super fun to watch, incredible impact player. But his game history is only active for about 60-70 games. His last full season was a Pistons playoff run 6 years ago.

    I think the Lakers get Kuzma for 1 1st. The only way they wouldn't is if Kuzma doesn't want to go there.

    The Mavs had a deal for Kuzma last trade deadline and he said no to wanting to go there. Too bad because he could have made the Finals a smidge more competitive.

    after DeRozan did his sign & trade with Sacramento, Laker fans have now added Gary Trent Jr. to the rumor mill.

    They still like the idea of trading for Jerami Grant, but they believe Cronin is up to no good, and wants a treasure chest in return.

    He was there a week or Two ago.

    It was Derozan, Buddy Hield and Trent.

    2 weeks ago was open-ended Laker fan fantasy. Klay was the easist route, but tons of top player names hit the messege box..
    Paul George, KD, Zion, bring Ingram back. It got a bit out of control, as off-season ideas usually do. Then D'Lo opted back in, maxed out the Lakers cap, which limited Showtime's field of dreams.

    The names circulating in the media — Markkanen, Ingram, Grant — that are left.

    The Lakers being below the 2nd apron preserves being able to (1) aggregate salaries in trades and (2) keep their 2031 draft pick (7 years away) from being frozen — unable to be traded.

    Markkanen costs too many draft picks.
    Ingram’s return for the Pelicans from the Lakers is not what a win-now team needs.
    Grant costs 2 (fully unprotected?) 1st rounders.

    The other names mentioned as on the Lakers list include … Kuzma.
    I’m confident in 2 things — the media will generate more names and Pelinka cannot run it back.

    Would the Lakers give up DLO + Rui for Grant straight across?

    If so, this 4-way deal makes a lot of sense:

    Lakers:
    DLo + Rui => Grant
    Get their guy.

    Nets:
    Johnson => DLo
    Get the PG for their rebuild.

    Kings:
    Heurter => Rui
    Get the PF they want

    Portland:
    Grant => Johnson + Heurter
    Get younger & much better depth.
