    Oh and we went twice up the rose garden trying to find fresh air with the flowers. 3pm was not ideal timing but 9pm was.

    If you've never been there - the Japanese Gardens in Washington Park is really a great place to spend a few hours. Us native Portlander's sometimes forget about this Portland gem!
