Bigger question, do we let him wear #7 or are we retiring Roy’s number?

ANOTHER crappy defender? Who doesn't like to pass? "Zach Lavine without hops"? You can get the real Zach Lavine AND a first round pick from Chicago any time you want.

Of course, he wouldn't be on a two-way contract...

We seem to have a weakness for picking lanky no-defense scorers from Nebraska off the scrap heap

first option: Jody wants a G-League championship. Cronin is trying to load the Remix with ballers.

2nd option: early prep for the massive tank battle after Christmas. If Cronin can properly bounce Bryce between G-League and NBA, it could mess up game flow and team chemistry. Strategical impact on the Loss column can be manipulated by wonky management.

example: Cronin makes a late night call, and has Bryce to fly to catch Portland on the 3rd game of a long road trip. Bryce gets to the Raptors stadium 2 hours before tip-off. Chauncey gives him a jersey and a basketball, and empowers him to play 20m of jetlag NBA action. After a couple more important losses, with stronger teams on the schedule... Bryce can return to the Remix and try to get his G-League groove back.

I don't see the point unless one of Scoot/Simons/Baton doesn't return. Could this be any sort of indicator we may move Simons?

It’s just two way. Do they have to use all of their openings?

I love having our own G league team and 3 2 way contracts to rotate in and out of the Remix with our 14 and 15th players under contract. Our scouts have done a really good job finding these guys to take a look at. Duop worked out pretty well

Why not give him a run for a few mins a game. See if he can come in off the bench and down bucket or two. See if his 3pt shooting is better.

Sure, if we had got rid of Simons, we could do that....

Can't wait until this guy gets a chance to play some NBA minutes. He's done everything anyone could hope for from him in the G-league. It's time to get him some senior squad time.
