Even if you can somehow explain away how it's possible that security could have allowed someone to climb onto a rooftop, 150 yards from a speaking president, while a crowd of people is gawking and pointing at him, alerting police/secret service, and the security forces failed to act, you then have to explain why they didn't get on the radio and issue whatever the code word is for "get the president down!"
Joe's best option, with our C.I.A., F.B.I., military, police, etc., at his disposal, was to hire an inept 20 year old. Who's best laid plan was to: Show up to a presidential rally, with a high powered weapon. To then proceed to climb the nearest building, on a sunny day, in broad daylight, while people are shouting to the police. The logic is so air tight. The republicans got me convinced. Joe must have ordered the hit!
Those that carry out assassinations usually don't want the deed to be tied back to them. So you set up a "lone nut" to do it and take the fall. In the case of the JFK assassination, a lone nut took the fall, but they had a professional team actual do the shooting. But many eye witnesses spotted them, and that would be a much tougher thing to get away within the age of cell phones and live streaming. And the shot was only an inch off from being a pink mist.
Nobody had to hire anyone. Just leave the roof open. Somebody was bound to try eventually. I'm not saying that's what happened. But leaving that roof open which is the perfect distance from the podium is a failure of monumental proportions. Like, criminal.
Also, the ideas floating around that this was "staged". If no shots were fired, I'd entertain that theory, because of how ridiculous the security lapse was, but Trump wouldn't stage a kid shooting a bullet through his ear.
I read where his father was a phycologist and mom was a teacher. It will be interesting to hear their take about their son at some point.
Here is a time sync'd split video, showing the amount of time elapsed from the crowd noticing the guy on the roof till the time when the shooting actually started. The idea that they didn't even have an officer or secret service member stationed there is insane.
That’s likely true. I guess if a magician was setting up the illusion Trump would have had something in his hand to stab his ear when the shots went off, but this wasn’t some magic trick. The Secret Service could have been in on it and left the roof open for the sniper, but don’t you think that they would pick a competent guy for the hit? A shot from that distance is nothing for a trained sniper. Nope, as per usual, the most likely thing is the most likely answer. Someone screwed up.
It's such a blunder to me that I think RFK Jr. is currently the most well protected candidate, and he does not have Secret Service protection.
The kid did almost pull it off though. It missed by an inch. 150 yards isn't that far. Especially when you can get multiple shots off quickly. Also some poor guy got shot right through the head, so we know there were real bullets flying.
With SS being that lax in today’s culture of politics and with a country obsessed with guns is unexplainable. To me it’s like how could you not think something is extremely fishy with this. I hope they snatched up his shoes after the photo shoot
The only conspiracy theory that I can entertain at this point with what we know, is that for whatever reason, he was given one shot. We know so little about the actual gunman that it's easy to fill in the blanks with whatever you like. I've read somewhere that he had a mostly inactive Discord account. The FBI has encouraged schizophrenics they're monitoring online to go through with mass shootings.
