Happen to be driving through Vegas today. Thinking I may swing by the game. Do we know who of Clingan and Murray/Rupert are playing? Should I buy tix at arena or elsewhere?

Yeah, nice. The left is also 7 feet tall and drafted for his defense, and the stats conveniently don't mention rebounds or blocks. Nor do the stats mention assists, which is suspicious, seeing as they need to be a strength for somebody 6'2" or whatever Bronny is. So, basically: they're both bad at the things that only Bronny really needs to be good at.

Nice that somebody's sticking up for Bronny I guess. Except that they're not really - they're just trashing Sarr.

Ngl Sarr being a bust would provide a decent narrative for DC vs Edey the next decade as best big from this draft, however he does seem like a nice guy.

He rebounds some, dribbles up court well, passes well. Just seems to lack any offensive aggression whatsoever, and is basically a pg in a 7 ft body.

If that’s what WAS wanted… great

I haven’t seen any “VERY GOOD” players in this summer league. Good or bad you can’t take anything away from this glorified rat ball. 90% of these dudes won’t be in the league this season let alone play. But you can keep this up if you want. Go back to enjoying all your “VERY GOOD” players.

Is Bronny better than Scoot? Or we don't know yet?

in case anyone cares, I looked up Sarr's NBL stats this year: he shot 61% on 2ptFG's and 30% on 3ptFG's. He also shot 71% on FT's. Those are fairly decent marks

he didn't play lots of minutes....only averaged around 17. Per36 he averaged 20 pts, 9 rebs, 2 asts, 3 blks.

I don't know if the NBL has better or worse competition than summer league. SL is probably faster paced and Sarr may be having issues adjusting to that. I'd imagine SL is more disorganized for a lot of teams and Sarr likely needs some good facilitators which the Wizards probably don't have

    I’d say no, and yes.

I am enjoying Bronny highlights, and am happy for him. Ignoring the 24/7 coverage and just looking at him as a humble kid, he shows some really nice ability to blow by defenders and finish with either hand…

scoot obviously is a league above Bronny in facilitation currently. So far even his shooting looks a league above Bronny which is… well, self explanatory

whichever one of the two becomes a true master of their abilities will pan out the best. Scoot obviously will have more opportunity to start/play up to full time. Bronny is ultimately a super 6th/7th man best case scenario, and that’s with everything in the universe on his side. I see scoots ceiling as top 3 pg/peak of say Chris Paul. There’s a difference there in potential absolutely, but that should be the case.

Anyone with any bball IQ can sift through what translates and what doesn't. Of course it's not 100% full proof. Clingan's skill set is translatable. But you can keep this low bball IQ up if you want. Go back to enjoying soccer.

A 7-footer should be shooting significantly better than 19%.. but I'm with you on the rest of your post.

The clear distinction is there are hundreds of 6’1 guys out there that can do what bronny does. 7 footers? Few and far between. To not take that into consideration is silly. Bronny is tiny. I was five feet from him and he is one of the smaller guys at SL. Starr is in the top 0.001% of humans wrt size.

I'm so used to ESPN putting the EST instead of PST, that I thought the game started at 5...and noticed they were having (I shit you not) a cornhole contest on instead.
