And yet here you are. You don't seem to be a Blazers fan. You tried to get banned, and yet you can't quit us.

I think the important thing is that you don't take it as a rejection of you personally.

Taking benign, boring political statements like “Taking back Washington” and trying to spin it into something sinister is a special kind of manipulation most adults don’t fall for. It is bottom of the barrel scare tactics. HOW do people take things like this seriously?

You mean, benign statements like this one: "we are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”

Exactly--in their mind, any violence will be the left's fault. Remember, this is also the same group that blames Ukraine for the perpetuation of hostilities with Russia. Same thought process: "Let us (Russia) have what we (they) believe we (they) deserve, and no harm will come to anyone."

No i meant benign statements like the the one I literally fucking quoted that you’ve chosen to disregard for something that is more sensational sounding. Not sure where you got that quote, but seeing as you’re a member of this truth-seeking community, i would venture to guess it was made by some random dipshit, is unrelated to Trump, and you are somehow trying to loosely tie it back to him to further you guys’ “end of the world/democracy” narrative

    Am i close?

You used the qualifier “like” when referring to your quote. I posted a quote by the same guy. It’s not benign. At the very least it’s inflammatory. After January 6th, MAGA folk don’t deserve any leeway.

The benign statement you quoted is the euphemistic replacement for the original subtitle--"Burning Down Washington"--for the book written by the same person who made the more inflammatory statement eBlazer referenced. And it would be disingenuous (or at the very least, ignorant) to call him "unrelated to Trump", when Trump's running-mate wrote the foreword to his political manifesto.

And if the left has let Trump stay in office after 2020 January 6 would not have happened.

Either that or, you know, the end of life on planet earth as we know it. Something in the ballpark of those two things.

Maybe make your mind up before trying to scare the shit out of people?

Another thing that got removed of its context and launched into the stratosphere of hysteria.

Your chain of events isn’t convincing, sorry. It was a boring political quote and you are pulling out of context to reinforce an extremely weak premise. It’s not sinister, it’s not scary, it’s not ominous and it’s not anything Trump said or condoned. You sound ridiculous.

Launched into the stratosphere? What’s your threshold on cops killed trying to defend the Capitol? I can only imagine how MAGA would have reacted if a bunch of Lefties had made a political commentary in the same way.

    THIS. DID. NOT. HAPPEN.

Jesus Christ, are you actually still basing your opinions off of this debunked bullshit this many years later????

No cops were killed on January 6th by protesters or otherwise. It was a lie like everything else the left has tried to threaten us all with. Get your fucking facts straight before you continue to bloviate about January 6. This is why nobody takes the left’s constant fear mongering and ominous warnings seriously. You guys are so full of shit, on nearly every topic.

You're the one who should get your facts straight. USCP Officer Brian Sicknick “passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty.” Yes, he died of strokes after the event, but the Medical Examiner told the Washington Post that while Sicknick died of natural causes, “all that transpired played a role in his condition.”

And, BTW, stop assuming that I'm a lefty. I voted Republican every presidential election up until Trump ran. I left the GOP when that nitwit got the nomination. Talk about a RINO. Trump has no political allegiance except to his own self-interests.

EDIT: And you totally ignored the second part of my post. What do you suppose the right would have done if leftists had done the exact same thing as the right did on Jan. 6th? We don't have to imagine too hard. Fox still makes political hay with the riots in Portland and the occupation of the courthouse.
